“祭司啊，要听！以色列家啊，要留心听！王室啊，要侧耳听！这是对你们的审判，因为你们像设在米斯巴的圈套，铺在他泊山的网罗。

那将是乌云密布、天昏地暗的日子。来了一支空前绝后、强盛无比的蝗虫大军，它们像曙光一样布满山头。

“你要请教先辈，探究祖先的经验。

唉！无比可怕的日子快来了，那将是雅各子孙的苦难之日，但他们必得拯救。”

有耳朵的，都应当听。”

雅各家的首领，以色列家的统治者啊，你们要听！你们厌恶正义，颠倒是非；

我们这里有白发老人，比你父亲还年长。

你们要定一个禁食的日子，举行庄严的聚会，召集全国的长老和人民，到你们的上帝耶和华的殿中，向耶和华呼求。

“那时，守护你本国人民的天使长米迦勒必出现。将有一段灾难时期，是开国以来从未有过的。那时，你同胞中凡名字记在册子上的，必得拯救。

住在撒玛利亚山上的巴珊肥母牛啊，你们要听！你们压榨贫寒人，欺凌穷苦人，又使唤丈夫倒酒畅饮。

“你们可以查考历史，自上帝创造世人以来，这样的奇事，天地之间何曾有过？谁曾听闻？有哪个民族像你们一样，听见了上帝在火中说话，还活了下来？有哪个神明像你们的上帝耶和华那样在埃及当着你们的面降灾祸、行神迹奇事、兴起战争、伸出臂膀、施展大能的手、以伟大而可畏的作为拯救一族脱离异邦？耶和华行这样的事，是要叫你们知道祂是上帝，除祂以外，别无他神。

‘听着，你们这群愚昧无知的人啊，你们视而不见，听而不闻。

以色列人啊，你们要留心听耶和华的话。祂指控住在这片土地上的居民，说：“这片土地上的人不忠不信，毫无良善，不认识上帝。

万民啊，你们都要听！大地和地上的万物啊，你们要侧耳倾听！主耶和华从祂的圣殿里作证指控你们。

“以色列人啊，要听耶和华责备你们的话，责备我从埃及领出来的整个民族的话，

‘圣灵对各教会所说的话，凡有耳朵的都应当听。我必将上帝乐园中生命树上的果子赐给得胜者吃。’

我说：“雅各的首领，以色列家的统治者啊！你们要听！难道你们不知正义吗？

智慧与老人相伴，知识与长者为伍。

以色列家啊，听我为你们唱哀歌：

为何恶人活着，得享长寿，势力强大？

“之后，耶和华必让亚述王来攻击你们。这是你全家及你的人民自以色列与犹大分裂以来从未有的日子。

万民啊，你们要听！世人啊，

列国啊，近前来听吧！列邦啊，留心听吧！大地和地上的万物、世界和世上的一切都要听。

因为那时世上将有空前绝后的大灾难。
