To you, Lord, I call, for fire has devoured the pastures in the wilderness and flames have burned up all the trees of the field.

在患难的日子，你呼求我。我必搭救你，你也必尊敬我。”

主耶和华向我这样显示：看哪！主耶和华召来刑罚的火，烧毁广大的深渊和以色列的地业。

至于我，我却要仰望耶和华，我要等候那拯救我的神；我的神必应允我。

应当毫无忧虑，只要凡事藉着祷告祈求，带着感恩的心，把你们所要的告诉神。这样，神所赐超过人能了解的平安，必在基督耶稣里，保守你们的心思意念。

他求告我，我必应允他；他在患难中，我必与他同在；我必拯救他，使他得尊荣。

难道神不会为昼夜呼吁他的选民伸冤吗？难道神会耽误他们吗？

无花果树纵不发芽，葡萄树不结果，橄榄树无所出，田里无收成，圈内的羊被剪除，棚里也没有牛，我却要因耶和华欢喜，以救我的神为乐。

在他们前面有吞灭的火，在他们后面有燃烧的火焰；他们未到以前，大地像伊甸园，他们过去以后，大地成了荒凉的旷野，没有一样能逃避他们的。

耶稣对他们讲一个比喻，论到人必须常常祈祷，不可灰心。
