祭司啊，你们当腰束麻布痛哭；伺候祭坛的啊，你们要哀号；侍奉我神的啊，你们要来披上麻布过夜，因为素祭和奠祭从你们神的殿中断绝了。

祭司啊，当束上麻布痛哭；事奉祭坛的啊，要哀号；事奉我上帝的啊，你们要来，披上麻布过夜，因为在你们上帝的殿中不再有素祭和浇酒祭了。

Put on sackcloth, you priests, and mourn; wail, you who minister before the altar. Come, spend the night in sackcloth, you who minister before my God; for the grain offerings and drink offerings are withheld from the house of your God.

Priests, put on the clothing of sadness and mourn. Cry, you who serve at the altar. Come, you who serve my God in the temple. Spend the night dressed in the clothes of sadness. Weep because no one brings grain offerings and drink offerings to the house of your God anymore.

Put on sackcloth and lament, O priests; wail, O ministers of the altar. Go in, pass the night in sackcloth, O ministers of my God! Because grain offering and drink offering are withheld from the house of your God.

Dress yourselves in burlap and weep, you priests! Wail, you who serve before the altar! Come, spend the night in burlap, you ministers of my God. For there is no grain or wine to offer at the Temple of your God.

尼尼微人信天主、宣示禁食、自老至少衣麻、尼尼微王聞言、聞言或作既聞此事下寶座、解衣、衣麻、坐於灰塵、王與大臣出諭、布告尼尼微邑曰、人與牲畜牛羊、勿食、勿飼、亦勿飲水、俱當衣麻、切切懇籲天主、各改其惡行、改其惡行原文作離其惡途下同勿復行強暴、

亞哈聞此言、自裂其衣、被麻於身而禁食、寢亦衣麻、行亦自卑、行亦自卑或作遲遲而行

奉事主之祭司、當在廊與祭臺間號泣曰、求主矜恤主之民、莫使主之民民原文作業蒙羞、為異邦人所轄制、否則恐異邦人譏誚曰、否則恐異邦人譏誚曰原文作何為使異邦人曰彼之天主安在、○

先知曰、我為山岡哭泣號咷、為曠野牧原悲哀、緣悉焚燬、無人來往、不聞群畜之鳴、飛鳥走獸、皆已逃亡而散、

腰間束麻、徧身戰慄、面悉蒙羞、首皆除髮、

蓋此言所指者、乃屬他支派、從無有人奉事於祭臺者、蓋明明我主由猶大支派出、此支派、摩西未嘗以祭司之職諭之、

天主使我能為新約之役、非循儀文、乃循聖神、蓋儀文致死、聖神致生、

大衛為子祈禱天主、入內禁食、終夜臥於地、

人當視我儕為基督之役、宰天主奧妙者、

爾豈不知務聖事者、由聖所得食乎、侍祭臺者、在祭臺有分乎、

乃諸事自表為天主之僕、即多忍、患難、窮乏、

以油與麵所備之素祭、奉於主、授於祭司、祭司攜至祭臺前、祭司從其中取所當獻者、焚於祭臺上、是為火祭、為馨香獻於主、素祭所餘、歸於亞倫及其子孫、此乃獻於主火祭所餘者、為至聖之物、

以上即在月朔及每日恆獻火焚祭與素祭之外、所當獻於主馨香之火祭、亦必循常例奠酒、○

彼基督之役乎、我更是也、我言此似狂、我較彼逾勞、逾受笞責、屢次繫獄、屢次瀕死、

爾曹必稱為主之祭司、人稱爾為奉事我天主者、必享異邦人之貨財、異邦人之榮、榮或作富有必為爾所得、
