For God is so wise and so mighty. Who has ever challenged him successfully?

他心裏有智慧，且大有能力。誰向神剛硬而得亨通呢？

他心裏有智慧，且大有能力。誰向上帝剛硬而得平安呢？

他心裏有智慧，且大有能力。誰向神剛硬而得平安呢？

祂充滿智慧，能力無比，誰能抗拒祂還可平安無恙？

他心裡有智慧，而且有極大的能力，有誰對他剛硬而平安無事呢？

他心裏有智慧，並且能力強大；誰向上帝強硬、還得安全呢？

其心明、其力強、自愎而敵之者、孰能亨通、

上帝具至智、有大能、違之者烏能得福。

天主心智力強、違之者孰可綏安、孰可綏安或作誰不受禍

His wisdom is profound, his power is vast. Who has resisted him and come out unscathed?

His wisdom is deep. His power is great. No one opposes him and comes away unharmed.

He is wise in heart and mighty in strength— who has hardened himself against him, and succeeded?—

God is wise and all-powerful. Who has opposed him and come out unharmed?

Wise in heart and mighty in strength, Who has defied Him without harm?

God is wise in heart and mighty in strength. Who has hardened himself against Him and prospered?

He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: Who hath hardened himself against him, and prospered?—

God is wise and all-powerful. Who has opposed Him and come out unharmed?

[ He is] wise in heart, and mighty in strength: who hath hardened[ himself] against him, and hath prospered?

He is wise in heart and mighty in strength– who has resisted him and remained safe?

God who is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: who has hardened himself against him and prospered?

Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.

“ God is mighty, but he does not despise anyone! He is mighty in both power and understanding.

Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault.All glory to him who alone is God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord. All glory, majesty, power, and authority are his before all time, and in the present, and beyond all time! Amen.

If it’s a question of strength, he’s the strong one. If it’s a matter of justice, who dares to summon him to court?

Whoever stubbornly refuses to accept criticism will suddenly be destroyed beyond recovery.

God’s purpose in all this was to use the church to display his wisdom in its rich variety to all the unseen rulers and authorities in the heavenly places.

So you see, God is with us. He is our leader. His priests blow their trumpets and lead us into battle against you. O people of Israel, do not fight against the Lord, the God of your ancestors, for you will not succeed!”

I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power

Oh, how great are God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his ways!

At least I can take comfort in this: Despite the pain, I have not denied the words of the Holy One.

If only he would tell you the secrets of wisdom, for true wisdom is not a simple matter. Listen! God is doubtless punishing you far less than you deserve!

Give thanks to him who made the heavens so skillfully. His faithful love endures forever.

“ After this time had passed, I, Nebuchadnezzar, looked up to heaven. My sanity returned, and I praised and worshiped the Most High and honored the one who lives forever. His rule is everlasting, and his kingdom is eternal.All the people of the earth are nothing compared to him. He does as he pleases among the angels of heaven and among the people of the earth. No one can stop him or say to him,‘ What do you mean by doing these things?’“ When my sanity returned to me, so did my honor and glory and kingdom. My advisers and nobles sought me out, and I was restored as head of my kingdom, with even greater honor than before.“ Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and glorify and honor the King of heaven. All his acts are just and true, and he is able to humble the proud.”

“ But true wisdom and power are found in God; counsel and understanding are his.

But when his heart and mind were puffed up with arrogance, he was brought down from his royal throne and stripped of his glory.He was driven from human society. He was given the mind of a wild animal, and he lived among the wild donkeys. He ate grass like a cow, and he was drenched with the dew of heaven, until he learned that the Most High God rules over the kingdoms of the world and appoints anyone he desires to rule over them.“ You are his successor, O Belshazzar, and you knew all this, yet you have not humbled yourself.For you have proudly defied the Lord of heaven and have had these cups from his Temple brought before you. You and your nobles and your wives and concubines have been drinking wine from them while praising gods of silver, gold, bronze, iron, wood, and stone— gods that neither see nor hear nor know anything at all. But you have not honored the God who gives you the breath of life and controls your destiny!So God has sent this hand to write this message.“ This is the message that was written: Mene, Mene, Tekel, and Parsin.This is what these words mean: Mene means‘ numbered’— God has numbered the days of your reign and has brought it to an end.Tekel means‘ weighed’— you have been weighed on the balances and have not measured up.Parsin means‘ divided’— your kingdom has been divided and given to the Medes and Persians.”Then at Belshazzar’s command, Daniel was dressed in purple robes, a gold chain was hung around his neck, and he was proclaimed the third highest ruler in the kingdom.That very night Belshazzar, the Babylonian king, was killed.

And I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they will charge in after the Israelites. My great glory will be displayed through Pharaoh and his troops, his chariots, and his charioteers.When my glory is displayed through them, all Egypt will see my glory and know that I am the Lord!”

Are you as strong as God? Can you thunder with a voice like his?

If you don’t, I will send more plagues on you and your officials and your people. Then you will know that there is no one like me in all the earth.By now I could have lifted my hand and struck you and your people with a plague to wipe you off the face of the earth.But I have spared you for a purpose— to show you my power and to spread my fame throughout the earth.But you still lord it over my people and refuse to let them go.

He said,“ Praise the name of God forever and ever, for he has all wisdom and power.

They wander around, saying,‘ Where can I find bread?’ They know their day of destruction is near.That dark day terrifies them. They live in distress and anguish, like a king preparing for battle.For they shake their fists at God, defying the Almighty.Holding their strong shields, they defiantly charge against him.“ These wicked people are heavy and prosperous; their waists bulge with fat.

What? Do we dare to rouse the Lord’s jealousy? Do you think we are stronger than he is?

He has showered his kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding.

Blessed are those who fear to do wrong, but the stubborn are headed for serious trouble.

O Lord, what a variety of things you have made! In wisdom you have made them all. The earth is full of your creatures.
