He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: Who hath hardened himself against him, and prospered?—

他心里有智慧，且大有能力。谁向神刚硬而得亨通呢？

他心里有智慧，且大有能力。谁向神刚硬而得平安呢？

祂充满智慧，能力无比，谁能抗拒祂还可平安无恙？

他心里有智慧，而且有极大的能力，有谁对他刚硬而平安无事呢？

他心裏有智慧，且大有能力。誰向神剛硬而得亨通呢？

他心裏有智慧，且大有能力。誰向上帝剛硬而得平安呢？

他心裏有智慧，且大有能力。誰向神剛硬而得平安呢？

祂充滿智慧，能力無比，誰能抗拒祂還可平安無恙？

他心裡有智慧，而且有極大的能力，有誰對他剛硬而平安無事呢？

他心裏有智慧，並且能力強大；誰向上帝強硬、還得安全呢？

其心明、其力強、自愎而敵之者、孰能亨通、

上帝具至智、有大能、違之者烏能得福。

天主心智力強、違之者孰可綏安、孰可綏安或作誰不受禍

His wisdom is profound, his power is vast. Who has resisted him and come out unscathed?

His wisdom is deep. His power is great. No one opposes him and comes away unharmed.

He is wise in heart and mighty in strength— who has hardened himself against him, and succeeded?—

For God is so wise and so mighty. Who has ever challenged him successfully?

God is wise and all-powerful. Who has opposed him and come out unharmed?

Wise in heart and mighty in strength, Who has defied Him without harm?

God is wise in heart and mighty in strength. Who has hardened himself against Him and prospered?

God is wise and all-powerful. Who has opposed Him and come out unharmed?

[ He is] wise in heart, and mighty in strength: who hath hardened[ himself] against him, and hath prospered?

He is wise in heart and mighty in strength– who has resisted him and remained safe?

God who is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: who has hardened himself against him and prospered?

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

Behold, God is mighty, and despiseth not any: He is mighty in strength of understanding.

Now unto him that is able to guard you from stumbling, and to set you before the presence of his glory without blemish in exceeding joy,to the only God our Saviour, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and power, before all time, and now, and for evermore. Amen.

If we speak of strength, lo, he is mighty! And if of justice, Who, saith he, will summon me?

He that being often reproved hardeneth his neck Shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.

to the intent that now unto the principalities and the powers in the heavenly places might be made known through the church the manifold wisdom of God,

And, behold, God is with us at our head, and his priests with the trumpets of alarm to sound an alarm against you. O children of Israel, fight ye not against Jehovah, the God of your fathers; for ye shall not prosper.

and what the exceeding greatness of his power to us- ward who believe, according to that working of the strength of his might

O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and the knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past tracing out!

And be it still my consolation, Yea, let me exult in pain that spareth not, That I have not denied the words of the Holy One.

And that he would show thee the secrets of wisdom! For he is manifold in understanding. Know therefore that God exacteth of thee less than thine iniquity deserveth.

To him that by understanding made the heavens; For his lovingkindness endureth for ever:

And at the end of the days I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the Most High, and I praised and honored him that liveth for ever; for his dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom from generation to generation;and all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth; and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?At the same time mine understanding returned unto me; and for the glory of my kingdom, my majesty and brightness returned unto me; and my counsellors and my lords sought unto me; and I was established in my kingdom, and excellent greatness was added unto me.Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven; for all his works are truth, and his ways justice; and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.

With God is wisdom and might; He hath counsel and understanding.

But when his heart was lifted up, and his spirit was hardened so that he dealt proudly, he was deposed from his kingly throne, and they took his glory from him:and he was driven from the sons of men, and his heart was made like the beasts’, and his dwelling was with the wild asses; he was fed with grass like oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven; until he knew that the Most High God ruleth in the kingdom of men, and that he setteth up over it whomsoever he will.And thou his son, O Belshazzar, hast not humbled thy heart, though thou knewest all this,but hast lifted up thyself against the Lord of heaven; and they have brought the vessels of his house before thee, and thou and thy lords, thy wives and thy concubines, have drunk wine from them; and thou hast praised the gods of silver and gold, of brass, iron, wood, and stone, which see not, nor hear, nor know; and the God in whose hand thy breath is, and whose are all thy ways, hast thou not glorified.Then was the part of the hand sent from before him, and this writing was inscribed.And this is the writing that was inscribed: MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN.This is the interpretation of the thing: MENE; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and brought it to an end.TEKEL; thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting.PERES; thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.Then commanded Belshazzar, and they clothed Daniel with purple, and put a chain of gold about his neck, and made proclamation concerning him, that he should be the third ruler in the kingdom.In that night Belshazzar the Chaldean King was slain.

And I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall go in after them: and I will get me honor upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.And the Egyptians shall know that I am Jehovah, when I have gotten me honor upon Pharaoh, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.

Or hast thou an arm like God? And canst thou thunder with a voice like him?

For I will this time send all my plagues upon thy heart, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people; that thou mayest know that there is none like me in all the earth.For now I had put forth my hand, and smitten thee and thy people with pestilence, and thou hadst been cut off from the earth:but in very deed for this cause have I made thee to stand, to show thee my power, and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth.As yet exaltest thou thyself against my people, that thou wilt not let them go?

Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever; for wisdom and might are his.

He wandereth abroad for bread, saying, Where is it? He knoweth that the day of darkness is ready at his hand.Distress and anguish make him afraid; They prevail against him, as a king ready to the battle.Because he hath stretched out his hand against God, And behaveth himself proudly against the Almighty;He runneth upon him with a stiff neck, With the thick bosses of his bucklers;Because he hath covered his face with his fatness, And gathered fat upon his loins;

Or do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?

which he made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence,

Happy is the man that feareth alway; But he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into mischief.

O Jehovah, how manifold are thy works! In wisdom hast thou made them all: The earth is full of thy riches.
