For he breaketh me with a tempest, and multiplieth my wounds without cause.

He would crush me with a storm and multiply my wounds for no reason.

He would send a storm to crush me. He’d increase my wounds without any reason.

For he crushes me with a tempest and multiplies my wounds without cause;

For he attacks me with a storm and repeatedly wounds me without cause.

He batters me with a whirlwind and multiplies my wounds without cause.

For He bruises me with a storm And multiplies my wounds without cause.

For He crushes me with a tempest, And multiplies my wounds without cause.

For he breaketh me with a tempest, And multiplieth my wounds without cause.

He batters me with a whirlwind and multiplies my wounds without cause.

he who crushes me with a tempest, and multiplies my wounds for no reason.

For he breaks me with a storm, and multiplies my wounds without cause.

He breaketh me with breach upon breach, he runneth upon me like a giant.

And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that[ there is] none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause.

Should I lie against my right? my wound[ is] incurable without transgression.

The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars; yea, the LORD breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.

Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.

Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts: all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me.

I was at ease, but he hath broken me asunder: he hath also taken[ me] by my neck, and shaken me to pieces, and set me up for his mark.

So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm.

Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.

And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

But[ this cometh to pass], that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.

And there came a messenger unto Job, and said, The oxen were plowing, and the asses feeding beside them:And the Sabeans fell[ upon them], and took them away; yea, they have slain the servants with the edge of the sword; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.While he[ was] yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The fire of God is fallen from heaven, and hath burned up the sheep, and the servants, and consumed them; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.While he[ was] yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The Chaldeans made out three bands, and fell upon the camels, and have carried them away, yea, and slain the servants with the edge of the sword; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.While he[ was] yet speaking, there came also another, and said, Thy sons and thy daughters[ were] eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother’s house:And, behold, there came a great wind from the wilderness, and smote the four corners of the house, and it fell upon the young men, and they are dead; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.

A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory.

So went Satan forth from the presence of the LORD, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown.

Behold, a whirlwind of the LORD is gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked.

So they sat down with him upon the ground seven days and seven nights, and none spake a word unto him: for they saw that[ his] grief was very great.

Thou liftest me up to the wind; thou causest me to ride[ upon it], and dissolvest my substance.

Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.

Not for[ any] injustice in mine hands: also my prayer[ is] pure.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even rend[ it] with a stormy wind in my fury; and there shall be an overflowing shower in mine anger, and great hailstones in[ my] fury to consume[ it].
