Suppose I called out to him and he answered. I don’t believe he’d listen to me.

我若呼吁，他应允我；我仍不信他真听我的声音。

我若呼求，纵然他应允我，我仍不信他会侧耳听我的声音。

我若呼求，纵然他应允我，我仍不信他会侧耳听我的声音。

即使我呼唤祂的时候，祂回应我，我仍不相信祂会垂听我的声音。

即使我呼求，他也回答我，我还是不信他会垂听我的声音。

Even if I summoned him and he responded, I do not believe he would give me a hearing.

If I summoned him and he answered me, I would not believe that he was listening to my voice.

And even if I summoned him and he responded, I’m not sure he would listen to me.

If I summoned him and he answered me, I do not believe he would pay attention to what I said.

If I called and He answered me, I could not believe that He was listening to my voice.

If I called and He answered me, I would not believe that He was listening to my voice.

If I had called, and he had answered me, Yet would I not believe that he hearkened unto my voice.

If I summoned Him and He answered me, I do not believe He would pay attention to what I said.

If I had called, and he had answered me;[ yet] would I not believe that he had hearkened unto my voice.

If I summoned him, and he answered me, I would not believe that he would be listening to my voice–

If I had called, and he had answered me, yet I wouldn’t believe that he listened to my voice.

If I had enjoyed having sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened.But God has surely listened. He has heard my prayer.Give praise to God. He has accepted my prayer. He has not held back his love from me.

She recognized Peter’s voice. She was so excited that she ran back without opening the door.“ Peter is at the door!” she exclaimed.“ You’re out of your mind,” they said to her. But she kept telling them it was true. So they said,“ It must be his angel.”Peter kept on knocking. When they opened the door and saw him, they were amazed.

Our enemies took us away from Zion. But when the Lord brought us home, it seemed like a dream to us.

When I was in trouble, I called out to the Lord. I cried to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice. My cry for help reached his ears.

But they still did not believe it. They were amazed and filled with joy. So Jesus asked them,“ Do you have anything here to eat?”

I love the Lord, because he heard my voice. He heard my cry for his help.Because he paid attention to me, I will call out to him as long as I live.

Moses reported these things to the Israelites. But they didn’t listen to him. That’s because they had lost all hope and had to work very hard.

“ Pardon me, sir,” Gideon replied,“ you say the Lord is with us. Then why has all this happened to us? Where are all the wonderful things he has done? Our people of long ago told us about them. They said,‘ Didn’t the Lord bring us up out of Egypt?’ But now the Lord has deserted us. He has handed us over to Midian.”

When I smiled at them, they could hardly believe it. The light of my face lifted their spirits.
