And God does not restrain his anger. Even the monsters of the sea are crushed beneath his feet.

上帝不会忍怒不发，海怪的帮手必屈膝在祂脚前。

神必不抑制他的怒气，海怪拉哈伯的助手都俯伏在他以下。

神必不抑制他的怒氣，海怪拉哈伯的助手都俯伏在他以下。

『上帝必不轉消他的怒氣；拉哈龍的助手也俯首於他以下。

上帝不回厥怒、助拉哈伯者、屈伏於其下、

其怒未息、強者慴之。

天主若不息怒、助拉哈伯者助拉哈伯者或作逞驕傲者必屈服其下、

God does not restrain his anger; even the cohorts of Rahab cowered at his feet.

God doesn’t hold back his anger. Even the helpers of the sea monster Rahab bowed in fear at his feet.

“ God will not turn back his anger; beneath him bowed the helpers of Rahab.

God does not hold back his anger; Rahab’s assistants cringe in fear beneath him!

“ God will not turn back His anger; Beneath Him the helpers of Rahab cower.

God will not withdraw His anger, The allies of the proud lie prostrate beneath Him.

God will not withdraw his anger; The helpers of Rahab do stoop under him.

God does not hold back His anger; Rahab’s assistants cringe in fear beneath Him!

[ If] God will not withdraw his anger, the proud helpers do stoop under him.

God does not restrain his anger; under him the helpers of Rahab lie crushed.

“ God will not withdraw his anger. The helpers of Rahab stoop under him.

Egypt’s promises are worthless! Therefore, I call her Rahab— the Harmless Dragon.

By his power the sea grew calm. By his skill he crushed the great sea monster.

You crushed the great sea monster. You scattered your enemies with your mighty arm.

Wake up, wake up, O Lord! Clothe yourself with strength! Flex your mighty right arm! Rouse yourself as in the days of old when you slew Egypt, the dragon of the Nile.

And he gives grace generously. As the Scriptures say,“ God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

In his wisdom, the Lord will send great disaster; he will not change his mind. He will rise against the wicked and against their helpers.For these Egyptians are mere humans, not God! Their horses are puny flesh, not mighty spirits! When the Lord raises his fist against them, those who help will stumble, and those being helped will fall. They will all fall down and die together.

Are you as strong as God? Can you thunder with a voice like his?All right, put on your glory and splendor, your honor and majesty.Give vent to your anger. Let it overflow against the proud.
