『上帝必不轉消他的怒氣；拉哈龍的助手也俯首於他以下。

上帝不回厥怒、助拉哈伯者、屈伏於其下、

其怒未息、強者慴之。

天主若不息怒、助拉哈伯者助拉哈伯者或作逞驕傲者必屈服其下、

God does not restrain his anger; even the cohorts of Rahab cowered at his feet.

God doesn’t hold back his anger. Even the helpers of the sea monster Rahab bowed in fear at his feet.

God does not hold back his anger; Rahab’s assistants cringe in fear beneath him!

God will not withdraw His anger, The allies of the proud lie prostrate beneath Him.

Even Egypt, whose help is vain and empty. Therefore, I have called her“ Rahab who has been exterminated.”

With His power He quieted the sea, And by His understanding He shattered Rahab.

You Yourself crushed Rahab like one who is slain; You scattered Your enemies with Your mighty arm.

Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the Lord; Awake as in the days of old, the generations of long ago. Was it not You who cut Rahab in pieces, Who pierced the dragon?

But He gives a greater grace. Therefore it says,“ God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”Submit therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Yet He also is wise and will bring disaster, And does not retract His words, But will arise against the house of evildoers, And against the help of the workers of injustice.Now the Egyptians are human and not God, And their horses are flesh and not spirit; So the Lord will stretch out His hand, And any helper will stumble, And one who is helped will fall. And all of them will come to an end together.

Or do you have an arm like God, And can you thunder with a voice like His?“ Adorn yourself with pride and dignity, And clothe yourself with honor and majesty.Let out your outbursts of anger, And look at everyone who is arrogant, and humble him.
