“神必不收回他的怒气；扶助拉哈伯的，屈身在他以下。

上帝不会忍怒不发，海怪的帮手必屈膝在祂脚前。

神必不抑制他的怒气，海怪拉哈伯的助手都俯伏在他以下。

上帝不回厥怒、助拉哈伯者、屈伏於其下、

其怒未息、強者慴之。

天主若不息怒、助拉哈伯者助拉哈伯者或作逞驕傲者必屈服其下、

God does not restrain his anger; even the cohorts of Rahab cowered at his feet.

God doesn’t hold back his anger. Even the helpers of the sea monster Rahab bowed in fear at his feet.

God will not withdraw His anger, The allies of the proud lie prostrate beneath Him.

God will not withdraw his anger; The helpers of Rahab do stoop under him.

[ If] God will not withdraw his anger, the proud helpers do stoop under him.

God does not restrain his anger; under him the helpers of Rahab lie crushed.

“ God will not withdraw his anger. The helpers of Rahab stoop under him.

Egypt’s help is completely worthless; therefore, I call her: Rahab Who Just Sits.

By His power He stirred the sea, and by His understanding He crushed Rahab.

You crushed Rahab like one who is slain; You scattered Your enemies with Your powerful arm.

Wake up, wake up! Put on the strength of the Lord’s power. Wake up as in days past, as in generations of long ago. Wasn’t it You who hacked Rahab to pieces, who pierced the sea monster?

But He gives greater grace. Therefore He says: God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.Therefore, submit to God. But resist the Devil, and he will flee from you.

But He also is wise and brings disaster. He does not go back on what He says; He will rise up against the house of wicked men and against the allies of evildoers.Egyptians are men, not God; their horses are flesh, not spirit. When the Lord raises His hand to strike, the helper will stumble and the one who is helped will fall; both will perish together.

Do you have an arm like God’s? Can you thunder with a voice like His?Adorn yourself with majesty and splendor, and clothe yourself with honor and glory.Unleash your raging anger; look on every proud person and humiliate him.
