但你若寻求上帝，向全能者恳求；

你若殷勤地尋求神，向全能者懇求；

你若切切尋求上帝，向全能者懇求；

你若切切尋求神，向全能者懇求；

但你若尋求上帝，向全能者懇求；

你若殷勤尋求神，向全能者懇求；

你若迫切尋求上帝，而向全能者懇求；

爾若勤求上帝、祈於全能者、

如爾勤求上帝、乞恩於全能之主、

爾若尋求天主、向全能之主祈恩、

But if you will seek God earnestly and plead with the Almighty,

But seek God with all your heart. Make your appeal to the Mighty One.

If you will seek God and plead with the Almighty for mercy,

But if you pray to God and seek the favor of the Almighty,

But if you earnestly seek God and ask the Almighty for mercy,

If you will search for God And implore the compassion of the Almighty,

If you would earnestly seek God And make your supplication to the Almighty,

If thou wouldest seek diligently unto God, And make thy supplication to the Almighty;

But if you earnestly seek God and ask the Almighty for mercy,

If thou wouldest seek unto God betimes, and make thy supplication to the Almighty;

But if you will look to God, and make your supplication to the Almighty,

If you want to seek God diligently, make your supplication to the Almighty.

“ Yet if you devote your heart to him and stretch out your hands to him, (niv)

Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.Grieve, mourn and wail. Change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom.Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up. (niv)

So, as the Holy Spirit says:“ Today, if you hear his voice,do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion, during the time of testing in the wilderness, (niv)

“ Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. (niv)

“ But if I were you, I would appeal to God; I would lay my cause before him. (niv)

Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near.Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon. (niv)

“ Submit to God and be at peace with him; in this way prosperity will come to you.Accept instruction from his mouth and lay up his words in your heart.If you return to the Almighty, you will be restored: If you remove wickedness far from your tentand assign your nuggets to the dust, your gold of Ophir to the rocks in the ravines,then the Almighty will be your gold, the choicest silver for you.Surely then you will find delight in the Almighty and will lift up your face to God.You will pray to him, and he will hear you, and you will fulfill your vows.What you decide on will be done, and light will shine on your ways.When people are brought low and you say,‘ Lift them up!’ then he will save the downcast.He will deliver even one who is not innocent, who will be delivered through the cleanness of your hands.” (niv)

In his distress he sought the favor of the Lord his God and humbled himself greatly before the God of his ancestors.And when he prayed to him, the Lord was moved by his entreaty and listened to his plea; so he brought him back to Jerusalem and to his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord is God. (niv)
