If you would earnestly seek God And make your supplication to the Almighty,

你若殷勤地寻求神，向全能者恳求；

你若切切寻求上帝，向全能者恳求；

你若切切寻求神，向全能者恳求；

但你若寻求上帝，向全能者恳求；

你若殷勤寻求神，向全能者恳求；

你若殷勤地尋求神，向全能者懇求；

你若切切尋求上帝，向全能者懇求；

你若切切尋求神，向全能者懇求；

但你若尋求上帝，向全能者懇求；

你若殷勤尋求神，向全能者懇求；

你若迫切尋求上帝，而向全能者懇求；

爾若勤求上帝、祈於全能者、

如爾勤求上帝、乞恩於全能之主、

爾若尋求天主、向全能之主祈恩、

But if you will seek God earnestly and plead with the Almighty,

But seek God with all your heart. Make your appeal to the Mighty One.

If you will seek God and plead with the Almighty for mercy,

But if you pray to God and seek the favor of the Almighty,

But if you earnestly seek God and ask the Almighty for mercy,

If you will search for God And implore the compassion of the Almighty,

If thou wouldest seek diligently unto God, And make thy supplication to the Almighty;

But if you earnestly seek God and ask the Almighty for mercy,

If thou wouldest seek unto God betimes, and make thy supplication to the Almighty;

But if you will look to God, and make your supplication to the Almighty,

If you want to seek God diligently, make your supplication to the Almighty.

“ If you would prepare your heart, And stretch out your hands toward Him;

Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom.Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.

Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says:“ Today, if you will hear His voice,Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, In the day of trial in the wilderness,

“ Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

“ But as for me, I would seek God, And to God I would commit my cause—

Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the Lord, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.

“ Now acquaint yourself with Him, and be at peace; Thereby good will come to you.Receive, please, instruction from His mouth, And lay up His words in your heart.If you return to the Almighty, you will be built up; You will remove iniquity far from your tents.Then you will lay your gold in the dust, And the gold of Ophir among the stones of the brooks.Yes, the Almighty will be your gold And your precious silver;For then you will have your delight in the Almighty, And lift up your face to God.You will make your prayer to Him, He will hear you, And you will pay your vows.You will also declare a thing, And it will be established for you; So light will shine on your ways.When they cast you down, and you say,‘ Exaltation will come!’ Then He will save the humble person.He will even deliver one who is not innocent; Yes, he will be delivered by the purity of your hands.”

Now when he was in affliction, he implored the Lord his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers,and prayed to Him; and He received his entreaty, heard his supplication, and brought him back to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord was God.
