If you will seek God and plead with the Almighty for mercy,

你若殷勤地寻求神，向全能者恳求；

你若切切寻求上帝，向全能者恳求；

你若切切寻求神，向全能者恳求；

但你若寻求上帝，向全能者恳求；

你若殷勤寻求神，向全能者恳求；

你若殷勤地尋求神，向全能者懇求；

你若切切尋求上帝，向全能者懇求；

你若切切尋求神，向全能者懇求；

但你若尋求上帝，向全能者懇求；

你若殷勤尋求神，向全能者懇求；

你若迫切尋求上帝，而向全能者懇求；

爾若勤求上帝、祈於全能者、

如爾勤求上帝、乞恩於全能之主、

爾若尋求天主、向全能之主祈恩、

But if you will seek God earnestly and plead with the Almighty,

But seek God with all your heart. Make your appeal to the Mighty One.

But if you pray to God and seek the favor of the Almighty,

But if you earnestly seek God and ask the Almighty for mercy,

If you will search for God And implore the compassion of the Almighty,

If you would earnestly seek God And make your supplication to the Almighty,

If thou wouldest seek diligently unto God, And make thy supplication to the Almighty;

But if you earnestly seek God and ask the Almighty for mercy,

If thou wouldest seek unto God betimes, and make thy supplication to the Almighty;

But if you will look to God, and make your supplication to the Almighty,

If you want to seek God diligently, make your supplication to the Almighty.

“ If you prepare your heart, you will stretch out your hands toward him.

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.Be wretched and mourn and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom.Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.

Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says,“ Today, if you hear his voice,do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, on the day of testing in the wilderness,

“ Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.

“ As for me, I would seek God, and to God would I commit my cause,

“ Seek the Lord while he may be found; call upon him while he is near;let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

“ Agree with God, and be at peace; thereby good will come to you.Receive instruction from his mouth, and lay up his words in your heart.If you return to the Almighty you will be built up; if you remove injustice far from your tents,if you lay gold in the dust, and gold of Ophir among the stones of the torrent-bed,then the Almighty will be your gold and your precious silver.For then you will delight yourself in the Almighty and lift up your face to God.You will make your prayer to him, and he will hear you, and you will pay your vows.You will decide on a matter, and it will be established for you, and light will shine on your ways.For when they are humbled you say,‘ It is because of pride’; but he saves the lowly.He delivers even the one who is not innocent, who will be delivered through the cleanness of your hands.”

And when he was in distress, he entreated the favor of the Lord his God and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers.He prayed to him, and God was moved by his entreaty and heard his plea and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord was God.
