If I have sinned, what have I done to you, you who see everything we do? Why have you made me your target? Have I become a burden to you?

If I’ve really sinned, tell me what I’ve done to you. You see everything we do. Why do you shoot your arrows at me? Have I become a problem to you?

祂彎弓搭箭，把我當箭靶，

我以歎息為食，呻吟如水湧流。

你的公義穩如高山，你的判斷深不可測。耶和華啊，你保護人類，也保護牲畜。

「因此我不再緘默不語，我要吐露胸中的悲愁，傾訴心裡的苦楚。上帝啊，我豈是大海，豈是海怪，值得你這樣防範我？

他會當眾歌唱說，『我犯了罪，顛倒是非，祂卻沒有按我的罪報應我。

因為全能者的箭射中我，箭毒侵蝕我的靈，祂使恐懼列隊襲來。

『我純全無過，我清白無罪，

你若犯罪，與上帝何妨？你若罪惡纍纍，對祂有何影響？

萬軍之上帝耶和華啊，你因你子民的禱告而發怒，要到何時呢？

那時你必鑒察我的腳步，但不會追究我的罪惡。

「你，唯有你是耶和華！你造了天、天上的天和天上的萬象、地和地上的一切、海和海中的一切，你賜給他們生命。眾天軍都敬拜你。

我本來平順，祂擊垮了我，祂抓住我的頸項將我摔碎，把我當祂的箭靶。祂的弓箭手四面圍住我，祂毫不留情地刺透我的腎臟，使我肝膽塗地。祂一次次地擊傷我，像勇士一樣撲向我。

你記下指控我的罪狀，讓我承擔幼年的罪惡。

我何曾像亞當一樣遮掩我的過犯，將罪惡藏在懷中，

你豈不是罪惡深重，過犯無數？

你必彎弓搭箭瞄準他們，使他們掉頭逃跑。

既然我被定為有罪，又何必徒然掙扎？即使我用雪水淨身，用鹼水洗手，祂仍會把我扔進污坑，連我的衣服也嫌棄我。
