If I have sinned, what have I done to you, you who see everything we do? Why have you made me your target? Have I become a burden to you?

If I’ve really sinned, tell me what I’ve done to you. You see everything we do. Why do you shoot your arrows at me? Have I become a problem to you?

祂弯弓搭箭，把我当箭靶，

我以叹息为食，呻吟如水涌流。

你的公义稳如高山，你的判断深不可测。耶和华啊，你保护人类，也保护牲畜。

“因此我不再缄默不语，我要吐露胸中的悲愁，倾诉心里的苦楚。上帝啊，我岂是大海，岂是海怪，值得你这样防范我？

他会当众歌唱说，‘我犯了罪，颠倒是非，祂却没有按我的罪报应我。

因为全能者的箭射中我，箭毒侵蚀我的灵，祂使恐惧列队袭来。

‘我纯全无过，我清白无罪，

你若犯罪，与上帝何妨？你若罪恶累累，对祂有何影响？

万军之上帝耶和华啊，你因你子民的祷告而发怒，要到何时呢？

那时你必鉴察我的脚步，但不会追究我的罪恶。

“你，唯有你是耶和华！你造了天、天上的天和天上的万象、地和地上的一切、海和海中的一切，你赐给他们生命。众天军都敬拜你。

我本来平顺，祂击垮了我，祂抓住我的颈项将我摔碎，把我当祂的箭靶。祂的弓箭手四面围住我，祂毫不留情地刺透我的肾脏，使我肝胆涂地。祂一次次地击伤我，像勇士一样扑向我。

你记下指控我的罪状，让我承担幼年的罪恶。

我何曾像亚当一样遮掩我的过犯，将罪恶藏在怀中，

你岂不是罪恶深重，过犯无数？

你必弯弓搭箭瞄准他们，使他们掉头逃跑。

既然我被定为有罪，又何必徒然挣扎？即使我用雪水净身，用碱水洗手，祂仍会把我扔进污坑，连我的衣服也嫌弃我。
