我可說甚麼呢？他應許我的，也給我成就了。我因心裏的苦楚，在一生的年日必悄悄而行。

有人至死心中痛苦，終身未嘗福樂的滋味；

耶穌極其傷痛，禱告更加懇切，汗珠如大血點滴在地上。

你們不要作聲，任憑我吧！讓我說話，無論如何我都承當。

我若行惡，便有了禍；我若為義，也不敢擡頭，正是滿心羞愧，眼見我的苦情。

我先前心裏難過痛苦，多多地流淚，寫信給你們，不是叫你們憂愁，乃是叫你們知道我格外地疼愛你們。

婦人上了山，到神人那裏，就抱住神人的腳。基哈西前來要推開她，神人說：「由她吧！因為她心裏愁苦，耶和華向我隱瞞，沒有指示我。」婦人說：「我何嘗向我主求過兒子呢？我豈沒有說過，不要欺哄我嗎？」

看哪，我受大苦，本為使我得平安；你因愛我的靈魂便救我脫離敗壞的坑，因為你將我一切的罪扔在你的背後。

絕望人的講論既然如風，你們還想要駁正言語嗎？

於是帶着彼得和西庇太的兩個兒子同去，就憂愁起來，極其難過，便對他們說：「我心裏甚是憂傷，幾乎要死；你們在這裏等候，和我一同警醒。」

我雖說話，憂愁仍不得消解；我雖停住不說，憂愁就離開我嗎？

請寬容我，我又要說話；說了以後，任憑你們嗤笑吧！我豈是向人訴冤？為何不焦急呢？

我的心在我裏面發熱。我默想的時候，火就燒起，我便用舌頭說話。
