If only my request would be granted and God would provide what I hope for:

“惟愿我得着所求的，愿神赐我所切望的；

“惟愿我得着所求的，上帝赏赐我所切望的，

“惟愿我得着所求的，神赏赐我所切望的，

唯愿我的祈求蒙应允，愿上帝成全我的冀望，

但愿我得着我所祈求的，愿神赐我所盼望的。

「惟願我得着所求的，上帝賞賜我所切望的，

「惟願我得着所求的，神賞賜我所切望的，

唯願我的祈求蒙應允，願上帝成全我的冀望，

『哦，願我所求的我可以得着；我所切望的、願上帝賜給我！

“ I wish I could have what I’m asking for! I wish God would give me what I’m hoping for!

“ Oh that I might have my request, and that God would fulfill my hope,

“ Oh, that I might have my request, that God would grant my desire.

If only my request would be granted and God would provide what I hope for:

“ Oh, that my request might come to pass, And that God would grant my hope!

“ Oh, that I might have my request, That God would grant me the thing that I long for!

Oh that I might have my request; And that God would grant me the thing that I long for!

Oh that I might have my request; and that God would grant[ me] the thing that I long for!

“ Oh that my request would be realized, and that God would grant me what I long for!

“ Oh that I might have my request, that God would grant the thing that I long for,

What strength do I have that I should continue to hope? What is my future, that I should be patient?Is my strength that of stone, or my flesh made of bronze?Since I cannot help myself, the hope for success has been banished from me.

I long for Your salvation; I put my hope in Your word.

and say to corruption: You are my father, and to the maggot: My mother or my sister,where then is my hope? Who can see any hope for me?Will it go down to the gates of Sheol, or will we descend together to the dust?
