若此、我尚覺慰藉、雖受苦至極、不蒙矜恤、猶可踴躍、因我未嘗違逆聖者之言、

這樣，我們得安慰，在無情的痛苦之中我還可以歡躍，因為我沒有否認那聖者的言語。

這仍可使我受安慰；在冷酷無情的痛苦中我還可以歡躍；因為我沒有埋沒那聖者說的話。

我則尚有慰藉、縱罹無已之苦、猶可踴躍、因我未違聖者之言、

若此我猶可解憂、彼弗加矜憫、則我斯踴矣。蓋至聖之命、我未嘗廢也。

Then I would still have this consolation— my joy in unrelenting pain— that I had not denied the words of the Holy One.

Then I’d still have one thing to comfort me. It would be that I haven’t said no to the Holy One’s commands. That would give me joy in spite of my pain that never ends.

This would be my comfort; I would even exult in pain unsparing, for I have not denied the words of the Holy One.

At least I can take comfort in this: Despite the pain, I have not denied the words of the Holy One.

It would still bring me comfort, and I would leap for joy in unrelenting pain that I have not denied the words of the Holy One.

But it is still my comfort, And I rejoice in unsparing pain, That I have not denied the words of the Holy One.

Then I would still have comfort; Though in anguish I would exult, He will not spare; For I have not concealed the words of the Holy One.

And be it still my consolation, Yea, let me exult in pain that spareth not, That I have not denied the words of the Holy One.

It would still bring me comfort, and I would leap for joy in unrelenting pain that I have not denied the words of the Holy One.

Then should I yet have comfort; yea, I would harden myself in sorrow: let him not spare; for I have not concealed the words of the Holy One.

Then I would yet have my comfort, then I would rejoice, in spite of pitiless pain, for I have not concealed the words of the Holy One.

Let still be my consolation, yes, let me exult in pain that doesn’t spare, that I have not denied the words of the Holy One.

爾告以色列會眾云、我耶和華爾之天主為聖、爾亦當為聖、

主所諭之命、我不遺棄、我不師心自用、但服膺其口之言、

至高至上永生、名為聖主者如是云、我雖居至高聖所、亦與痛悔者虛心者偕居、使謙卑者心蘇、使痛悔者心蘇、

我以唇舌傳述主口諭之一切法律、

爾當書達非拉叠非教會使者曰、為聖為誠、執大衛之鑰、啟則莫能閉、閉則莫能啟者、如是云、

在泉壤甚安逸、將從之者多、往其先者無數、或作送之之人後行者甚多前行者不可勝數彼在泉壤亦甚安逸

善人之口出智慧、其舌乃說公平、

天主不惜己子、為我眾舍之、豈不以萬物偕其子並賜我乎、

當受其口之訓誨、以其言存於爾心、

昔天使犯罪、天主亦未惜之、投於地獄、縛於幽暗中、以待審判、亦未惜先古之世、以洪水罰彼不虔敬之惡世、惟救傳義道之挪亞等八人、

我在大會中宣揚主之公義、不絕於口、主歟、此乃主所知者、主之公義、我不匿於心中、主之誠信救恩、我必傳揚、主之恩惠真實、我不隱瞞大眾、

天主自提幔而至、聖主自巴蘭山而來、細拉、榮光蔽天、頌美徧地、

四活物各有六翼、內外徧處有目、晝夜不息言曰、聖哉、聖哉、聖哉、昔在今在後在全能之主上帝、

凡益爾者、一無所隱、或於眾前、或於各家、示爾訓爾、

我不忿怒降災、或作我不願逞我烈怒而行不復滅以法蓮、我乃天主、並非人、為爾中之聖主、不復臨爾以怒、

天主歟、我自幼蒙主訓誨、以至於今我宣揚主之奇跡、我至年老髮白之時、求天主仍莫遐棄我、我將以主之大力、傳揚於來世、以主之大能、指示將生在世之人、

先知禱主曰、主我之天主、我之聖主、自亙古而有、必保全我、不致於死、必保全我不致於死原文作我儕必不致死耶和華歟、主為懲罰而設之、天主天主原文作磐歟、主為撲責而立之、耶和華歟主為懲罰而設之天主歟主為撲責而立之或作耶和華全能之主歟主立此迦勒底人欲藉以懲罰撲責世人

天主心智力強、違之者孰可綏安、孰可綏安或作誰不受禍

若尋獲墳墓、則欣喜踴躍、歡樂不勝、又作若見邱塋則歡欣尋獲墳墓則喜樂

當離所行之道、舍所履之徑、勿於我前復題以色列聖主、故以色列聖主如是云、爾棄此命、恃強暴、賴偽妄、偽妄或作奸惡之事

惟主至聖、主外無神可尊、無神可比我天主、無神可比我天主或作我天主全能無可比擬

蓋天主之旨、我悉以告爾、一無所隱、

主必不赦之、必動忌邪之心、震怒甚烈、氣忿若燄、以攻此人、以此書所載諸禍諸禍或作諸詛下同加諸其身、塗抹其名於天下、
