你起初雖然微小，日後必非常強盛。

至於那些今世富足的人，你要囑咐他們不要自高，也不要倚賴靠不住的錢財；要倚靠那厚賜萬物給我們享受的上帝。

耶和華所賜的福使人富足，並不加上憂慮。

以撒在那地耕種，那一年有百倍的收成。耶和華賜福給他，他就發達，日漸昌盛，成了大富翁。他有羊羣牛羣，又有許多僕人，非利士人就嫉妒他。

看哪，那些忍耐的人，我們稱他們是有福的。你們聽見過約伯的忍耐，也看見主給他的結局，知道主是充滿憐憫和慈悲的。

又在曠野將你列祖所不認識的嗎哪賜給你吃，為要磨煉你，考驗你，終久使你享福。

我們的倉盈滿，能供應各種糧食；我們的羊在田野孳生千萬。我們的牲口馱滿貨物，沒有人闖進來搶奪，也沒有人出去爭戰；我們的街市上也沒有哭號的聲音。這樣情況的百姓有福了！以耶和華為他們上帝的百姓有福了！
