The end of a matter is better than its beginning; Patience of spirit is better than arrogance of spirit.

His possessions were seven thousand sheep, three thousand camels, five hundred yoke of oxen, five hundred female donkeys, and very many servants; and that man was the greatest of all the men of the east.

The Lord has greatly blessed my master, so that he has become rich; and He has given him flocks and herds, and silver and gold, and servants and slave women, and camels and donkeys.

Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to set their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy.

It is the blessing of the Lord that makes rich, And He adds no sorrow to it.

Now Isaac sowed in that land and reaped in the same year a hundred times as much. And the Lord blessed him,and the man became rich, and continued to grow richer until he became very wealthy;for he had possessions of flocks and herds, and a great household, so that the Philistines envied him.

We count those blessed who endured. You have heard of the endurance of Job and have seen the outcome of the Lord’s dealings, that the Lord is full of compassion and is merciful.

In the wilderness it was He who fed you manna which your fathers did not know, in order to humble you and in order to put you to the test, to do good for you in the end.

Our granaries are full, providing every kind of produce, And our flocks deliver thousands and ten thousands in our fields;May our cattle be bred Without mishap and without loss, May there be no outcry in our streets!Blessed are the people who are so situated; Blessed are the people whose God is the Lord!
