對那些今世富有的人，你當吩咐他們不可高傲自大，也不可把盼望寄託在靠不住的財富上，而要寄託在神身上，神把萬物豐豐富富地賜給我們享受。

耶和華的祝福使人富有，並且他不會加上勞苦。

以撒在那地耕種，那一年收穫百倍；耶和華祝福了他，他就昌大起來，日漸強大，變得非常昌盛。他擁有羊群、牛群和許多僕婢，非利士人就嫉妒他。

看哪，那些忍耐過的人，我們稱他們有福！你們聽說過約伯的忍耐，也看見了主所賜給他的結局，知道主是充滿憐憫和仁慈的。

我們的倉庫滿滿，供應各樣的物產；我們的羊群成千上萬，在我們的田野中繁衍。我們的牛群滿負貨物，城牆也沒有破口，沒有人流亡，我們的廣場上也沒有哭聲。這樣景況中的子民是蒙福的！以耶和華為神的子民是蒙福的！
