By humility[ and] the fear of the LORD[ are] riches, and honour, and life.

For your shame[ ye shall have] double; and[ for] confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.

And Moses cried unto the LORD, saying, Heal her now, O God, I beseech thee.

Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house:

And they said, Hath the LORD indeed spoken only by Moses? hath he not spoken also by us? And the LORD heard[ it].

Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment.And they fell upon their faces, and said, O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and wilt thou be wroth with all the congregation?

Hath not my hand made all these things?

Turn again our captivity, O LORD, as the streams in the south.They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves[ with him].

And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a censer, and put fire therein from off the altar, and put on incense, and go quickly unto the congregation, and make an atonement for them: for there is wrath gone out from the LORD; the plague is begun.And Aaron took as Moses commanded, and ran into the midst of the congregation; and, behold, the plague was begun among the people: and he put on incense, and made an atonement for the people.And he stood between the dead and the living; and the plague was stayed.

And Amaziah said to the man of God, But what shall we do for the hundred talents which I have given to the army of Israel? And the man of God answered, The LORD is able to give thee much more than this.

And Moses said unto the LORD, Then the Egyptians shall hear[ it],( for thou broughtest up this people in thy might from among them;)And they will tell[ it] to the inhabitants of this land:[ for] they have heard that thou LORD[ art] among this people, that thou LORD art seen face to face, and[ that] thy cloud standeth over them, and[ that] thou goest before them, by day time in a pillar of a cloud, and in a pillar of fire by night.Now[ if] thou shalt kill[ all] this people as one man, then the nations which have heard the fame of thee will speak, saying,Because the LORD was not able to bring this people into the land which he sware unto them, therefore he hath slain them in the wilderness.And now, I beseech thee, let the power of my Lord be great, according as thou hast spoken, saying,The LORD[ is] longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing[ the guilty], visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth[ generation].Pardon, I beseech thee, the iniquity of this people according unto the greatness of thy mercy, and as thou hast forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now.And the LORD said, I have pardoned according to thy word:

The LORD maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up.

For he maketh sore, and bindeth up: he woundeth, and his hands make whole.He shall deliver thee in six troubles: yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee.In famine he shall redeem thee from death: and in war from the power of the sword.

LORD, thou hast been favourable unto thy land: thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob.Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. Selah.Thou hast taken away all thy wrath: thou hast turned[ thyself] from the fierceness of thine anger.

But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for[ it is] he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as[ it is] this day.

And Moses cried unto the LORD, saying, What shall I do unto this people? they be almost ready to stone me.And the LORD said unto Moses, Go on before the people, and take with thee of the elders of Israel; and thy rod, wherewith thou smotest the river, take in thine hand, and go.

Then shalt thou lay up gold as dust, and the[ gold] of Ophir as the stones of the brooks.Yea, the Almighty shall be thy defence, and thou shalt have plenty of silver.

But all the congregation bade stone them with stones. And the glory of the LORD appeared in the tabernacle of the congregation before all the children of Israel.

So Abraham prayed unto God: and God healed Abimelech, and his wife, and his maidservants; and they bare[ children].
