Do you have an arm like God’s, and can your voice thunder like his?

Is your arm as powerful as mine is? Can your voice thunder as mine does?

Have you an arm like God, and can you thunder with a voice like his?

Are you as strong as God? Can you thunder with a voice like his?

Then there comes a roaring sound; God thunders with His majestic voice. He does not restrain the lightning when His rumbling voice is heard.God thunders marvelously with His voice; He does great things that we cannot comprehend.

You have a mighty arm; Your hand is powerful; Your right hand is lifted high.

But I tell you that you are wrong in this matter, since God is greater than man.Why do you take Him to court for not answering anything a person asks?

My heart grew hot within me; as I mused, a fire burned. I spoke with my tongue:“ Lord, reveal to me the end of my life and the number of my days. Let me know how short-lived I am.You, indeed, have made my days short in length, and my life span as nothing in Your sight. Yes, every mortal man is only a vapor. Selah“ Certainly, man walks about like a mere shadow. Indeed, they frantically rush around in vain, gathering possessions without knowing who will get them.Now, Lord, what do I wait for? My hope is in You.Deliver me from all my transgressions; do not make me the taunt of fools.I am speechless; I do not open my mouth because of what You have done.

The voice of the Lord is above the waters. The God of glory thunders— the Lord, above vast waters,

You crushed Rahab like one who is slain; You scattered Your enemies with Your powerful arm.

Would He prosecute me forcefully? No, He will certainly pay attention to me.

Lord, Your right hand is glorious in power. Lord, Your right hand shattered the enemy.

Or are we provoking the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than He?

God is wise and all-powerful. Who has opposed Him and come out unharmed?

“ Woe to the one who argues with his Maker— one clay pot among many. Does clay say to the one forming it,‘ What are you making?’ Or does your work say,‘ He has no hands’?
