After it a voice roareth; He thundereth with the voice of his majesty; And he restraineth not the lightnings when his voice is heard.God thundereth marvellously with his voice; Great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend.

Thou hast a mighty arm; Strong is thy hand, and high is thy right hand.

The voice of Jehovah is upon the waters: The God of glory thundereth, Even Jehovah upon many waters.

Thou hast broken Rahab in pieces, as one that is slain; Thou hast scattered thine enemies with the arm of thy strength.

Would he contend with me in the greatness of his power? Nay; but he would give heed unto me.

Thy right hand, O Jehovah, is glorious in power, Thy right hand, O Jehovah, dasheth in pieces the enemy.

Or do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?

He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: Who hath hardened himself against him, and prospered?—

Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! a potsherd among the potsherds of the earth! Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?
