Pour out the fury of your anger. Look at everyone who is proud, and bring him low.

要发出你满溢的怒气，见一切骄傲的人，使他降卑；

爾施震怒、使矜高者卑微、驕肆者喪敗、作惡者蹂躪。

震動爾怒、見矜高者則抑之、

Unleash the fury of your wrath, look at all who are proud and bring them low,

Let loose your great anger. Look at those who are proud and bring them low.

Pour out the overflowings of your anger, and look on everyone who is proud and abase him.

Give vent to your anger. Let it overflow against the proud.

Pour out your raging anger; look on every proud person and humiliate him.

Let out your outbursts of anger, And look at everyone who is arrogant, and humble him.

Disperse the rage of your wrath; Look on everyone who is proud, and humble him.

Pour forth the overflowings of thine anger; And look upon every one that is proud, and abase him.

Unleash your raging anger; look on every proud person and humiliate him.

Cast abroad the rage of thy wrath: and behold every one[ that is] proud, and abase him.

Scatter abroad the abundance of your anger. Look at every proud man and bring him low;

Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven; for all his works are truth, and his ways justice; and those who walk in pride he is able to abase.

The lofty looks of man will be brought low, the arrogance of men will be bowed down, and Yahweh alone will be exalted in that day.For there will be a day of Yahweh of Armies for all that is proud and arrogant, and for all that is lifted up; and it shall be brought low:

The loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the arrogance of men shall be brought low; and Yahweh alone shall be exalted in that day.

Who can stand before his indignation? Who can endure the fierceness of his anger? His wrath is poured out like fire, and the rocks are broken apart by him.

But when his heart was lifted up, and his spirit was hardened so that he dealt proudly, he was deposed from his kingly throne, and they took his glory from him.He was driven from the sons of men, and his heart was made like the animals’, and his dwelling was with the wild donkeys. He was fed with grass like oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of the sky; until he knew that the Most High God rules in the kingdom of men, and that he sets up over it whomever he will.“ You, his son, Belshazzar, have not humbled your heart, though you knew all this,but have lifted up yourself against the Lord of heaven; and they have brought the vessels of his house before you, and you and your lords, your wives, and your concubines, have drunk wine from them. You have praised the gods of silver and gold, of bronze, iron, wood, and stone, which don’t see, or hear, or know; and you have not glorified the God in whose hand your breath is, and whose are all your ways.

“ For, behold, the day comes, it burns as a furnace; and all the proud, and all who work wickedness, will be stubble; and the day that comes will burn them up,” says Yahweh of Armies,“ that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

The pride of your heart has deceived you, you who dwell in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high, who says in his heart,‘ Who will bring me down to the ground?’Though you mount on high as the eagle, and though your nest is set among the stars, I will bring you down from there,” says Yahweh.

Throw out lightning, and scatter them. Send out your arrows, and rout them.

But he gives more grace. Therefore it says,“ God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”

He threw on them the fierceness of his anger, wrath, indignation, and trouble, and a band of angels of evil.He made a path for his anger. He didn’t spare their soul from death, but gave their life over to the pestilence,

The people shouted,“ The voice of a god, and not of a man!”Immediately an angel of the Lord struck him, because he didn’t give God the glory. Then he was eaten by worms and died.

but to those who are self- seeking, and don’t obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, will be wrath, indignation,oppression, and anguish on every soul of man who does evil, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

Likewise, you younger ones, be subject to the elder. Yes, all of you clothe yourselves with humility, to subject yourselves to one another; for“ God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time,

For it hurls at him, and does not spare, as he flees away from his hand.

Now I know that Yahweh is greater than all gods because of the way that they treated people arrogantly.”

For a fire is kindled in my anger, that burns to the lowest Sheol, devours the earth with its increase, and sets the foundations of the mountains on fire.

Your right hand, Yahweh, is glorious in power. Your right hand, Yahweh, dashes the enemy in pieces.

When he is about to fill his belly, God will cast the fierceness of his wrath on him. It will rain on him while he is eating.

Therefore it will happen that when the Lord has performed his whole work on Mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the willful proud heart of the king of Assyria, and the insolence of his arrogant looks.For he has said,“ By the strength of my hand I have done it, and by my wisdom; for I have understanding. I have removed the boundaries of the peoples, and have robbed their treasures. Like a valiant man I have brought down their rulers.My hand has found the riches of the peoples like a nest, and like one gathers eggs that are abandoned, I have gathered all the earth. There was no one who moved their wing, or that opened their mouth, or chirped.”Should an ax brag against him who chops with it? Should a saw exalt itself above him who saws with it? As if a rod should lift those who lift it up, or as if a staff should lift up someone who is not wood.Therefore the Lord, Yahweh of Armies, will send among his fat ones leanness; and under his glory a burning will be kindled like the burning of fire.The light of Israel will be for a fire, and his Holy One for a flame; and it will burn and devour his thorns and his briers in one day.He will consume the glory of his forest, and of his fruitful field, both soul and body. It will be as when a standard bearer faints.The remnant of the trees of his forest shall be few, so that a child could write their number.

Therefore he poured the fierceness of his anger on him, and the strength of battle. It set him on fire all around, but he didn’t know. It burned him, but he didn’t take it to heart.”

“ Son of man, tell the prince of Tyre,‘ The Lord Yahweh says:“ Because your heart is lifted up, and you have said,‘ I am a god, I sit in the seat of God, in the middle of the seas;’ yet you are man, and not God, though you set your heart as the heart of God—

but indeed for this cause I have made you stand: to show you my power, and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth,because you still exalt yourself against my people, that you won’t let them go.
