If anyone tries to harm them, fire comes from their mouths and devours their enemies. This is how anyone who wants to harm them must die.They have power to shut up the heavens so that it will not rain during the time they are prophesying; and they have power to turn the waters into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they want.

So fire came out from the presence of the Lord and consumed them, and they died before the Lord.

And fire came out from the Lord and consumed the 250 men who were offering the incense.

Elijah answered the captain,“ If I am a man of God, may fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty men!” Then fire fell from heaven and consumed the captain and his men.

See, fire has fallen from heaven and consumed the first two captains and all their men. But now have respect for my life!”

He unleashes his lightning beneath the whole heaven and sends it to the ends of the earth.

Now the people complained about their hardships in the hearing of the Lord, and when he heard them his anger was aroused. Then fire from the Lord burned among them and consumed some of the outskirts of the camp.

He fills his hands with lightning and commands it to strike its mark.

Saul said,“ Listen now, son of Ahitub.”“ Yes, my lord,” he answered.

When Moses stretched out his staff toward the sky, the Lord sent thunder and hail, and lightning flashed down to the ground. So the Lord rained hail on the land of Egypt;hail fell and lightning flashed back and forth. It was the worst storm in all the land of Egypt since it had become a nation.Throughout Egypt hail struck everything in the fields— both people and animals; it beat down everything growing in the fields and stripped every tree.

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying,“ Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said,“ Here am I. Send me!”
