Who hath divided a watercourse for the overflowing of waters, or a way for the lightning of thunder;

誰沛霖雨、誰發雷電。

誰為暴雨分途歸河、誰為雷電定道、

Who cuts a channel for the torrents of rain, and a path for the thunderstorm,

Who tells the rain where it should fall? Who makes paths for the thunderstorms?

“ Who has cleft a channel for the torrents of rain and a way for the thunderbolt,

“ Who created a channel for the torrents of rain? Who laid out the path for the lightning?

Who cuts a channel for the flooding rain or clears the way for lightning,

“ Who has split open a channel for the flood, And a way for the thunderbolt,

“ Who has divided a channel for the overflowing water, Or a path for the thunderbolt,

Who hath cleft a channel for the waterflood, Or the way for the lightning of the thunder;

Who cuts a channel for the flooding rain or clears the way for lightning,

Who carves out a channel for the heavy rains, and a path for the rumble of thunder,

Who has cut a channel for the flood water, or the path for the thunder storm,

When he made a decree for the rain, and a way for the lightning of the thunder:

The voice of the LORD[ is] upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD[ is] upon many waters.The voice of the LORD[ is] powerful; the voice of the LORD[ is] full of majesty.The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars; yea, the LORD breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn.The voice of the LORD divideth the flames of fire.The voice of the LORD shaketh the wilderness; the LORD shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of[ his] glory.The LORD sitteth upon the flood; yea, the LORD sitteth King for ever.

For he maketh small the drops of water: they pour down rain according to the vapour thereof:Which the clouds do drop[ and] distil upon man abundantly.

He directeth it under the whole heaven, and his lightning unto the ends of the earth.After it a voice roareth: he thundereth with the voice of his excellency; and he will not stay them when his voice is heard.God thundereth marvellously with his voice; great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend.For he saith to the snow, Be thou[ on] the earth; likewise to the small rain, and to the great rain of his strength.
