爾曾入於海泉乎、爾曾行於深淵乎、

海之泉源、爾豈能窮、淵之深處、爾豈能及。

爾曾至海之泉源乎、曾行淵之深處乎、

“ Have you journeyed to the springs of the sea or walked in the recesses of the deep?

“ Have you traveled to the springs at the bottom of the ocean? Have you walked in its deepest parts?

“ Have you entered into the springs of the sea, or walked in the recesses of the deep?

“ Have you explored the springs from which the seas come? Have you explored their depths?

Have you traveled to the sources of the sea or walked in the depths of the oceans?

“ Have you entered the springs of the sea, And walked in the depth of the ocean?

“ Have you entered the springs of the sea? Or have you walked in search of the depths?

Hast thou entered into the springs of the sea? Or hast thou walked in the recesses of the deep?

When there were no watery depths, I was given birth, when there were no springs overflowing with water; (niv)

Therefore this is what the Lord says:“ See, I will defend your cause and avenge you; I will dry up her sea and make her springs dry. (niv)
