And marked out for it my bound, And set bars and doors,

when I fixed limits for it and set its doors and bars in place,

I set limits for it. I put its doors and metal bars in place.

and prescribed limits for it and set bars and doors,

For I locked it behind barred gates, limiting its shores.

when I determined its boundaries and put its bars and doors in place,

And I placed boundaries on it And set a bolt and doors,

When I fixed My limit for it, And set bars and doors;

And brake up for it my decreed[ place], and set bars and doors,

when I prescribed its limits, and set in place its bolts and doors,

marked out for it my bound, set bars and doors,

Thou hast set a bound that they may not pass over; That they turn not again to cover the earth.

Fear ye not me? saith Jehovah: will ye not tremble at my presence, who have placed the sand for the bound of the sea, by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it? and though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail; though they roar, yet can they not pass over it.

He hath described a boundary upon the face of the waters, Unto the confines of light and darkness.

and I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.

And God said, Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.

He gathereth the waters of the sea together as a heap: He layeth up the deeps in store- houses.
