Hearken unto this, O Job: Stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God.

“ Pay attention to this, Job! Stand still and consider the wonders God works.

Yahweh’s works are great, pondered by all those who delight in them.

Moses said to the people,“ Don’t be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of Yahweh, which he will work for you today; for you will never again see the Egyptians whom you have seen today.

But Yahweh is in his holy temple. Let all the earth be silent before him!”

All your works will give thanks to you, Yahweh. Your saints will extol you.They will speak of the glory of your kingdom, and talk about your power,to make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, the glory of the majesty of his kingdom.

I will meditate on the glorious majesty of your honor, on your wondrous works.Men will speak of the might of your awesome acts. I will declare your greatness.

“ Remember that you magnify his work, about which men have sung.

Sheol is naked before God, and Abaddon has no covering.He stretches out the north over empty space, and hangs the earth on nothing.He binds up the waters in his thick clouds, and the cloud is not burst under them.He encloses the face of his throne, and spreads his cloud on it.He has described a boundary on the surface of the waters, and to the confines of light and darkness.The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his rebuke.He stirs up the sea with his power, and by his understanding he strikes through Rahab.By his Spirit the heavens are garnished. His hand has pierced the swift serpent.Behold, these are but the outskirts of his ways. How small a whisper do we hear of him! But the thunder of his power who can understand?”

“ Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth.”
