約百乎、請聽我言、試思上帝神妙、

約百乎、當聽此、立而思維天主之奇妙、奇妙或作異跡

“ Pay attention to this, Job. Stop and consider the wonderful miracles of God!

“ Listen to this, O Job; Stand still and consider the wondrous works of God.

The works of the LORD[ are] great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.

And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.

But the LORD[ is] in his holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before him.

All thy works shall praise thee, O LORD; and thy saints shall bless thee.They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power;To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.

I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works.And[ men] shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts: and I will declare thy greatness.

Remember that thou magnify his work, which men behold.

Hell[ is] naked before him, and destruction hath no covering.He stretcheth out the north over the empty place,[ and] hangeth the earth upon nothing.He bindeth up the waters in his thick clouds; and the cloud is not rent under them.He holdeth back the face of his throne,[ and] spreadeth his cloud upon it.He hath compassed the waters with bounds, until the day and night come to an end.The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his reproof.He divideth the sea with his power, and by his understanding he smiteth through the proud.By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked serpent.Lo, these[ are] parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand?

Be still, and know that I[ am] God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
