電閃穹蒼、覆幬海底、

天主使光明普照其上、且以覆海底、

See how he scatters his lightning about him, bathing the depths of the sea.

He laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be moved forever.You covered it with the deep as with a cloak. The waters stood above the mountains.At your rebuke they fled. At the voice of your thunder they hurried away.The mountains rose, the valleys sank down, to the place which you had assigned to them.You have set a boundary that they may not pass over, that they don’t turn again to cover the earth.

The children of Israel went into the middle of the sea on the dry ground, and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand, and on their left.
