I get my knowledge from afar; I will ascribe justice to my Maker.

I get my knowledge from far away. I’ll announce that the God who made me is fair.

They sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying:“ Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty! Just and true are Your ways, O King of the saints!

For the Lord is righteous, He loves righteousness; His countenance beholds the upright.

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.

He is the Rock, His work is perfect; For all His ways are justice, A God of truth and without injustice; Righteous and upright is He.

The Lord is righteous in all His ways, Gracious in all His works.

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.

Then the wrath of Elihu, the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the family of Ram, was aroused against Job; his wrath was aroused because he justified himself rather than God.

If you seek her as silver, And search for her as for hidden treasures;Then you will understand the fear of the Lord, And find the knowledge of God.

But there is a spirit in man, And the breath of the Almighty gives him understanding.

Does God subvert judgment? Or does the Almighty pervert justice?

What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? Certainly not!

“ From where then does wisdom come? And where is the place of understanding?It is hidden from the eyes of all living, And concealed from the birds of the air.Destruction and Death say,‘ We have heard a report about it with our ears.’God understands its way, And He knows its place.For He looks to the ends of the earth, And sees under the whole heavens,

“ For Job has said,‘ I am righteous, But God has taken away my justice;

So he arose and went. And behold, a man of Ethiopia, a eunuch of great authority under Candace the queen of the Ethiopians, who had charge of all her treasury, and had come to Jerusalem to worship,was returning. And sitting in his chariot, he was reading Isaiah the prophet.Then the Spirit said to Philip,“ Go near and overtake this chariot.”So Philip ran to him, and heard him reading the prophet Isaiah, and said,“ Do you understand what you are reading?”And he said,“ How can I, unless someone guides me?” And he asked Philip to come up and sit with him.The place in the Scripture which he read was this:“ He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; And as a lamb before its shearer is silent, So He opened not His mouth.In His humiliation His justice was taken away, And who will declare His generation? For His life is taken from the earth.”So the eunuch answered Philip and said,“ I ask you, of whom does the prophet say this, of himself or of some other man?”Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning at this Scripture, preached Jesus to him.Now as they went down the road, they came to some water. And the eunuch said,“ See, here is water. What hinders me from being baptized?”

But the righteousness of faith speaks in this way,“ Do not say in your heart,‘ Who will ascend into heaven?’”( that is, to bring Christ down from above)or,“‘ Who will descend into the abyss?’”( that is, to bring Christ up from the dead).But what does it say?“ The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”( that is, the word of faith which we preach):

“ But where can wisdom be found? And where is the place of understanding?Man does not know its value, Nor is it found in the land of the living.

Righteous are You, O Lord, when I plead with You; Yet let me talk with You about Your judgments. Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why are those happy who deal so treacherously?

Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem,saying,“ Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.”

As for the Almighty, we cannot find Him; He is excellent in power, In judgment and abundant justice; He does not oppress.

O Lord, righteousness belongs to You, but to us shame of face, as it is this day— to the men of Judah, to the inhabitants of Jerusalem and all Israel, those near and those far off in all the countries to which You have driven them, because of the unfaithfulness which they have committed against You.

Therefore the Lord has kept the disaster in mind, and brought it upon us; for the Lord our God is righteous in all the works which He does, though we have not obeyed His voice.

whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed,to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

“ Therefore listen to me, you men of understanding: Far be it from God to do wickedness, And from the Almighty to commit iniquity.For He repays man according to his work, And makes man to find a reward according to his way.Surely God will never do wickedly, Nor will the Almighty pervert justice.
