Remember to thank him for what he’s done. People have praised him with their songs.

Instead, glorify his mighty works, singing songs of praise.

Oh, magnify the Lord with me, And let us exalt His name together.

They sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying:“ Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty! Just and true are Your ways, O King of the saints!

And Mary said:“ My soul magnifies the Lord,

Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, Who only does wondrous things!

The works of the Lord are great, Studied by all who have pleasure in them.His work is honorable and glorious, And His righteousness endures forever.He has made His wonderful works to be remembered; The Lord is gracious and full of compassion.

He has made the earth by His power, He has established the world by His wisdom, And has stretched out the heavens at His discretion.

Because they do not regard the works of the Lord, Nor the operation of His hands, He shall destroy them And not build them up.

But I will sing of Your power; Yes, I will sing aloud of Your mercy in the morning; For You have been my defense And refuge in the day of my trouble.

Yes, they shall sing of the ways of the Lord, For great is the glory of the Lord.

“ With Him are wisdom and strength, He has counsel and understanding.If He breaks a thing down, it cannot be rebuilt; If He imprisons a man, there can be no release.If He withholds the waters, they dry up; If He sends them out, they overwhelm the earth.With Him are strength and prudence. The deceived and the deceiver are His.He leads counselors away plundered, And makes fools of the judges.He loosens the bonds of kings, And binds their waist with a belt.He leads princes away plundered, And overthrows the mighty.He deprives the trusted ones of speech, And takes away the discernment of the elders.He pours contempt on princes, And disarms the mighty.He uncovers deep things out of darkness, And brings the shadow of death to light.He makes nations great, and destroys them; He enlarges nations, and guides them.He takes away the understanding of the chiefs of the people of the earth, And makes them wander in a pathless wilderness.They grope in the dark without light, And He makes them stagger like a drunken man.

All Your works shall praise You, O Lord, And Your saints shall bless You.They shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom, And talk of Your power,To make known to the sons of men His mighty acts, And the glorious majesty of His kingdom.

Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, all of whose works are truth, and His ways justice. And those who walk in pride He is able to put down.

Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of men!

For You, Lord, have made me glad through Your work; I will triumph in the works of Your hands.O Lord, how great are Your works! Your thoughts are very deep.

Among the gods there is none like You, O Lord; Nor are there any works like Your works.All nations whom You have made Shall come and worship before You, O Lord, And shall glorify Your name.For You are great, and do wondrous things; You alone are God.

How great are His signs, And how mighty His wonders! His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, And His dominion is from generation to generation.

“ The dead tremble, Those under the waters and those inhabiting them.Sheol is naked before Him, And Destruction has no covering.He stretches out the north over empty space; He hangs the earth on nothing.He binds up the water in His thick clouds, Yet the clouds are not broken under it.He covers the face of His throne, And spreads His cloud over it.He drew a circular horizon on the face of the waters, At the boundary of light and darkness.The pillars of heaven tremble, And are astonished at His rebuke.He stirs up the sea with His power, And by His understanding He breaks up the storm.By His Spirit He adorned the heavens; His hand pierced the fleeing serpent.Indeed these are the mere edges of His ways, And how small a whisper we hear of Him! But the thunder of His power who can understand?”

And take heed, lest you lift your eyes to heaven, and when you see the sun, the moon, and the stars, all the host of heaven, you feel driven to worship them and serve them, which the Lord your God has given to all the peoples under the whole heaven as a heritage.

The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork.Day unto day utters speech, And night unto night reveals knowledge.There is no speech nor language Where their voice is not heard.Their line has gone out through all the earth, And their words to the end of the world. In them He has set a tabernacle for the sun,

They stand fast forever and ever, And are done in truth and uprightness.

Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of men!

O Lord, how manifold are Your works! In wisdom You have made them all. The earth is full of Your possessions—
