If they obey and serve him, they will spend the rest of their days in prosperity and their years in contentment.

If they obey him and serve him, they’ll enjoy a long and happy life. Things will go well with them.

If they listen and serve him, they complete their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasantness.

“ If they listen and obey God, they will be blessed with prosperity throughout their lives. All their years will be pleasant.

To the extent that she glorified herself and lived luxuriously, to the same extent give her torment and mourning; for she says in her heart,‘ I sit as a queen and I am not a widow, and will never see mourning.’

You have lived for pleasure on the earth and lived luxuriously; you have fattened your hearts in a day of slaughter.

There is one fate for the righteous and for the wicked; for the good, for the clean and the unclean; for the person who offers a sacrifice and for the one who does not sacrifice. As the good person is, so is the sinner; the one who swears an oath is just as the one who is afraid to swear an oath.This is an evil in everything that is done under the sun, that there is one fate for everyone. Furthermore, the hearts of the sons of mankind are full of evil, and insanity is in their hearts throughout their lives. Afterward they go to the dead.

“ If you would direct your heart rightly And spread out your hands to Him,If wrongdoing is in your hand, put it far away, And do not let malice dwell in your tents;Then, indeed, you could lift up your face without moral blemish, And you would be firmly established and not fear.For you would forget your trouble; Like waters that have passed by, you would remember it.Your life would be brighter than noonday; Darkness would be like the morning.Then you would trust, because there is hope; And you would look around and rest securely.You would lie down and none would disturb you, And many would flatter you.
