The LORD[ is] slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit[ the wicked]: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds[ are] the dust of his feet.

But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded?

When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?

Behold even to the moon, and it shineth not; yea, the stars are not pure in his sight.How much less man,[ that is] a worm? and the son of man,[ which is] a worm?

[ It is] he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof[ are] as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:That bringeth the princes to nothing; he maketh the judges of the earth as vanity.

Behold, God[ is] great, and we know[ him] not, neither can the number of his years be searched out.For he maketh small the drops of water: they pour down rain according to the vapour thereof:Which the clouds do drop[ and] distil upon man abundantly.Also can[ any] understand the spreadings of the clouds,[ or] the noise of his tabernacle?Behold, he spreadeth his light upon it, and covereth the bottom of the sea.For by them judgeth he the people; he giveth meat in abundance.With clouds he covereth the light; and commandeth it[ not to shine] by[ the cloud] that cometh betwixt.The noise thereof sheweth concerning it, the cattle also concerning the vapour.At this also my heart trembleth, and is moved out of his place.Hear attentively the noise of his voice, and the sound[ that] goeth out of his mouth.He directeth it under the whole heaven, and his lightning unto the ends of the earth.After it a voice roareth: he thundereth with the voice of his excellency; and he will not stay them when his voice is heard.God thundereth marvellously with his voice; great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend.

Fair weather cometh out of the north: with God[ is] terrible majesty.[ Touching] the Almighty, we cannot find him out:[ he is] excellent in power, and in judgment, and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict.

Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him which is perfect in knowledge?

And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.
