Look up at the heavens and see; gaze at the clouds so high above you.

Jehovah is slow to anger, and great in power, and will by no means clear the guilty: Jehovah hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.

But will God in very deed dwell on the earth? behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded!

When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, The moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;What is man, that thou art mindful of him? And the son of man, that thou visitest him?

Behold, even the moon hath no brightness, And the stars are not pure in his sight:How much less man, that is a worm! And the son of man, that is a worm!

It is he that sitteth above the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in;that bringeth princes to nothing; that maketh the judges of the earth as vanity.

Behold, God is great, and we know him not; The number of his years is unsearchable.For he draweth up the drops of water, Which distil in rain from his vapor,Which the skies pour down And drop upon man abundantly.Yea, can any understand the spreadings of the clouds, The thunderings of his pavilion?Behold, he spreadeth his light around him; And he covereth the bottom of the sea.For by these he judgeth the peoples; He giveth food in abundance.He covereth his hands with the lightning, And giveth it a charge that it strike the mark.The noise thereof telleth concerning him, The cattle also concerning the storm that cometh up.Yea, at this my heart trembleth, And is moved out of its place.Hear, oh, hear the noise of his voice, And the sound that goeth out of his mouth.He sendeth it forth under the whole heaven, And his lightning unto the ends of the earth.After it a voice roareth; He thundereth with the voice of his majesty; And he restraineth not the lightnings when his voice is heard.God thundereth marvellously with his voice; Great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend.

Out of the north cometh golden splendor: God hath upon him terrible majesty.Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out: He is excellent in power; And in justice and plenteous righteousness he will not afflict.

Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds, The wondrous works of him who is perfect in knowledge?

And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and number the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.
