“ Do you think this is in accordance with justice? Do you say,‘ My righteousness is more than God’s’?

“你以为有理，或以为你的公义胜于神的公义，

“你以为这话有理，说：‘我在上帝面前是公义的。’

“你以为这话有理，说：‘我在神面前是公义的。’

“你在上帝面前自以为义，你认为这合理吗？

“你说：‘我在神面前更显为义’，你自以为这话有理吗？

你以為有理，或以為你的公義勝於神的公義，

「你以為這話有理，說：『我在上帝面前是公義的。』

「你以為這話有理，說：『我在神面前是公義的。』

「你在上帝面前自以為義，你認為這合理嗎？

“你說：‘我在神面前更顯為義’，你自以為這話有理嗎？

『你以為這樣說有理，你才說：「我的正義勝於上帝」；

爾以為有理、自謂我之義、愈於上帝之義乎、

爾於上帝前、自稱為義、爾又言、雖不犯罪、亦無所裨、斯言也、豈合乎理。

爾於天主前、自稱為義、或作爾言我義於天主又言我不犯罪亦何所裨、較犯罪有何所益、爾以為此言合乎理乎、

“ Do you think this is just? You say,‘ I am in the right, not God.’

“ Job, do you think it’s fair for you to say,‘ I am the one who is right, not God’?

“ Do you think this to be just? Do you say,‘ It is my right before God,’

“ Do you think it is right for you to claim,‘ I am righteous before God’?

Do you think it is just when you say,“ I am righteous before God”?

“ Do you think this is right? Do you say,‘ My righteousness is more than God’s’?

Thinkest thou this to be thy right, Or sayest thou, My righteousness is more than God’s,

Do you think it is just when you say,“ I am righteous before God”?

Thinkest thou this to be right,[ that] thou saidst, My righteousness[ is] more than God’s?

“ Do you think this to be just: when you say,‘ My right before God.’

“ Do you think this to be your right, or do you say,‘ My righteousness is more than God’s,’

But I tell you that for every careless word that people speak, they will give an account of it on the day of judgment.For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”

For He bruises me with a storm And multiplies my wounds without cause.

Know then that God has wronged me And has surrounded me with His net.“ Behold, I cry,‘ Violence!’ but I get no answer; I shout for help, but there is no justice.

Will you really nullify My judgment? Will you condemn Me so that you may be justified?

Although there is no violence in my hands, And my prayer is pure.

He* said to him,‘ From your own lips I will judge you, you worthless slave. Did you know that I am a demanding man, taking up what I did not lay down, and reaping what I did not sow?

According to Your knowledge I am indeed not guilty, Yet there is no one to save me from Your hand.

“ As God lives, who has taken away my right, And the Almighty, who has embittered my soul,For as long as life is in me, And the breath of God is in my nostrils,My lips certainly will not speak unjustly, Nor will my tongue mutter deceit.Far be it from me that I should declare you right; Until I die, I will not give up my integrity.I have kept hold of my righteousness and will not let it go. My heart does not rebuke any of my days.

For Job has said,‘ I am righteous, But God has taken away my right;
