Thinkest thou this to be thy right, Or sayest thou, My righteousness is more than God’s,

“你以为有理，或以为你的公义胜于神的公义，

“你以为这话有理，说：‘我在上帝面前是公义的。’

“你以为这话有理，说：‘我在神面前是公义的。’

“你在上帝面前自以为义，你认为这合理吗？

“你说：‘我在神面前更显为义’，你自以为这话有理吗？

「你以為這話有理，說：『我在上帝面前是公義的。』

「你以為這話有理，說：『我在神面前是公義的。』

「你在上帝面前自以為義，你認為這合理嗎？

“你說：‘我在神面前更顯為義’，你自以為這話有理嗎？

『你以為這樣說有理，你才說：「我的正義勝於上帝」；

爾以為有理、自謂我之義、愈於上帝之義乎、

爾於上帝前、自稱為義、爾又言、雖不犯罪、亦無所裨、斯言也、豈合乎理。

爾於天主前、自稱為義、或作爾言我義於天主又言我不犯罪亦何所裨、較犯罪有何所益、爾以為此言合乎理乎、

“ Do you think this is just? You say,‘ I am in the right, not God.’

“ Job, do you think it’s fair for you to say,‘ I am the one who is right, not God’?

“ Do you think this to be just? Do you say,‘ It is my right before God,’

“ Do you think it is right for you to claim,‘ I am righteous before God’?

Do you think it is just when you say,“ I am righteous before God”?

“ Do you think this is in accordance with justice? Do you say,‘ My righteousness is more than God’s’?

“ Do you think this is right? Do you say,‘ My righteousness is more than God’s’?

Do you think it is just when you say,“ I am righteous before God”?

Thinkest thou this to be right,[ that] thou saidst, My righteousness[ is] more than God’s?

“ Do you think this to be just: when you say,‘ My right before God.’

“ Do you think this to be your right, or do you say,‘ My righteousness is more than God’s,’

And I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

For he breaketh me with a tempest, And multiplieth my wounds without cause.

Know now that God hath subverted me in my cause, And hath compassed me with his net.Behold, I cry out of wrong, but I am not heard: I cry for help, but there is no justice.

Wilt thou even annul my judgment? Wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be justified?

Although there is no violence in my hands, And my prayer is pure.

He saith unto him, Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I am an austere man, taking up that which I laid not down, and reaping that which I did not sow;

Although thou knowest that I am not wicked, And there is none that can deliver out of thy hand?

As God liveth, who hath taken away my right, And the Almighty, who hath vexed my soul( For my life is yet whole in me, And the spirit of God is in my nostrils);Surely my lips shall not speak unrighteousness, Neither shall my tongue utter deceit.Far be it from me that I should justify you: Till I die I will not put away mine integrity from me.My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go: My heart shall not reproach me so long as I live.

For Job hath said, I am righteous, And God hath taken away my right:
