约伯曾说：‘我是公义，神夺去我的理；

約百嘗曰、我乃義、上帝不以直道待我、

約百嘗言我乃義、天主不以公平待我、

“ Job says,‘ I am innocent, but God denies me justice.

“ Job says,‘ I’m not guilty of doing anything wrong. But God doesn’t treat me fairly.

For Job has said,‘ I am in the right, and God has taken away my right;

For Job also said,‘ I am innocent, but God has taken away my rights.

For Job has declared,“ I am righteous, yet God has deprived me of justice.

For Job has said,‘ I am righteous, But God has taken away my right;

“ For Job has said,‘ I am righteous, But God has taken away my justice;

For Job hath said, I am righteous, And God hath taken away my right:

For Job has declared,“ I am righteous, yet God has deprived me of justice.

For Job hath said, I am righteous: and God hath taken away my judgment.

For Job says,‘ I am innocent, but God turns away my right.

For Job has said,‘ I am righteous, God has taken away my right:

‘ I am pure, I have done no wrong; I am clean and free from sin. (niv)

“ As surely as God lives, who has denied me justice, the Almighty, who has made my life bitter, (niv)

He would crush me with a storm and multiply my wounds for no reason. (niv)

So these three men stopped answering Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes. (niv)

I put on righteousness as my clothing; justice was my robe and my turban. (niv)

You say to God,‘ My beliefs are flawless and I am pure in your sight.’ (niv)

yet my hands have been free of violence and my prayer is pure. (niv)

though you know that I am not guilty and that no one can rescue me from your hand? (niv)
