於其故罪、又加以忤逆之罪、在我儕中自顯侮慢、在天主前多言煩瀆、

To his sin he adds rebellion; scornfully he claps his hands among us and multiplies his words against God.”

因為悖逆與行邪術的罪相同，頑梗與拜虛無偶像一樣，因為你棄絕了耶和華的話，耶和華也棄絕了你作王。”

你們若願意聽從，就必得吃地上的美物；你們若不聽從，反而悖逆，就必被刀劍吞滅。”這是耶和華親口說的。

“這許多的話怎可不回答，多嘴多舌的人怎能算為義呢？你胡言亂語可使人不作聲嗎？你嘲笑的時候，無人責備嗎？

“你說：‘我在神面前更顯為義’，你自以為這話有理嗎？你還說：‘你有甚麼益處呢？我不犯罪有甚麼好處？’

“直到今日我還有苦情要申訴，我雖然歎息，他的手仍然沉重。

“這些話你要說到幾時，你口中的言語像狂風到幾時呢？神怎會歪曲公平？全能者怎會屈枉公義？

所以約伯開口說空話，多說無知識的話。”

耶和華對約伯說了這些話以後，就對提幔人以利法說：“我要向你和你的兩個朋友生氣，因為你們講論我，不如我的僕人約伯說的對。
