“ Listen to me, you who have understanding. Everyone knows that God doesn’t sin! The Almighty can do no wrong.

“所以，你们明理的人要听我的话。神断不致行恶；全能者断不致作孽。

“所以，你们明理的人要听我，上帝断不致行恶，全能者断不致不义。

“所以，你们明理的人要听我，神断不致行恶，全能者断不致不义。

“所以明智的人啊，请听我言，上帝绝不会作恶，全能者绝无不义。

所以，明理的人哪！你们要听我的话，神决不至作恶，全能者断不至行不义，

所以，你們明理的人要聽我的話。神斷不致行惡；全能者斷不致作孽。

「所以，你們明理的人要聽我，上帝斷不致行惡，全能者斷不致不義。

「所以，你們明理的人要聽我，神斷不致行惡，全能者斷不致不義。

「所以明智的人啊，請聽我言，上帝絕不會作惡，全能者絕無不義。

所以，明理的人哪！你們要聽我的話，神決不至作惡，全能者斷不至行不義，

『所以你們心裏明理的人要聽我；上帝決不至於行惡，全能者斷不至於不義。

故爾智者、其聽我言、上帝決不為惡、全能者斷不作孽、

維爾智者、請聽我言、寧有全能上帝、而行非義哉。

今爾曹有慧心者、請聽我言、天主斷不行非善、全能之主斷不行非義、

“ So listen to me, you men of understanding. Far be it from God to do evil, from the Almighty to do wrong.

“ So listen to me, you men who have understanding. God would never do what is evil. The Mighty One would never do what is wrong.

“ Therefore, hear me, you men of understanding: far be it from God that he should do wickedness, and from the Almighty that he should do wrong.

Therefore listen to me, you men of understanding. It is impossible for God to do wrong, and for the Almighty to act unjustly.

“ Therefore, listen to me, you men of understanding. Far be it from God to do evil, And from the Almighty to do wrong.

“ Therefore listen to me, you men of understanding: Far be it from God to do wickedness, And from the Almighty to commit iniquity.

Therefore hearken unto me, ye men of understanding: Far be it from God, that he should do wickedness, And from the Almighty, that he should commit iniquity.

Therefore listen to me, you men of understanding. It is impossible for God to do wrong, and for the Almighty to act unjustly.

Therefore hearken unto me, ye men of understanding: far be it from God,[ that he should do] wickedness; and[ from] the Almighty,[ that he should commit] iniquity.

“ Therefore, listen to me, you men of understanding. Far be it from God to do wickedness, from the Almighty to do evil.

“ Therefore listen to me, you men of understanding: far be it from God, that he should do wickedness, from the Almighty, that he should commit iniquity.

He is the Rock; his deeds are perfect. Everything he does is just and fair. He is a faithful God who does no wrong; how just and upright he is!

Are we saying, then, that God was unfair? Of course not!

Surely you wouldn’t do such a thing, destroying the righteous along with the wicked. Why, you would be treating the righteous and the wicked exactly the same! Surely you wouldn’t do that! Should not the Judge of all the earth do what is right?”

Does God twist justice? Does the Almighty twist what is right?

Of course not! Even if everyone else is a liar, God is true. As the Scriptures say about him,“ You will be proved right in what you say, and you will win your case in court.”“ But,” some might say,“ our sinfulness serves a good purpose, for it helps people see how righteous God is. Isn’t it unfair, then, for him to punish us?”( This is merely a human point of view.)

Fear the Lord and judge with integrity, for the Lord our God does not tolerate perverted justice, partiality, or the taking of bribes.”

No one can tell him what to do, or say to him,‘ You have done wrong.’

But the man who commits adultery is an utter fool, for he destroys himself.

They will declare,“ The Lord is just! He is my rock! There is no evil in him!”

Lord, you always give me justice when I bring a case before you. So let me bring you this complaint: Why are the wicked so prosperous? Why are evil people so happy?

We cannot imagine the power of the Almighty; but even though he is just and righteous, he does not destroy us.

And remember, when you are being tempted, do not say,“ God is tempting me.” God is never tempted to do wrong, and he never tempts anyone else.

If you reject discipline, you only harm yourself; but if you listen to correction, you grow in understanding.

After all, bright people will tell me, and wise people will hear me say,

“ Listen to me, you wise men. Pay attention, you who have knowledge.Job said,‘ The ear tests the words it hears just as the mouth distinguishes between foods.’
