若有一位使者伺候着他，若千位中有一位傳話者，將人該行的正當事指示他，

設有天使千中之一、與之同在、為之解釋、示人所當為者、

時有使者、才德異眾、以上帝之道明示之、

千天使中若有一天使為其人作保、以人所當為之正事明示之、

Yet if there is an angel at their side, a messenger, one out of a thousand, sent to tell them how to be upright,

“ But suppose there is an angel who will speak up for him. The angel is very special. He’s one out of a thousand. He will tell that person how to do what is right.

If there be for him an angel, a mediator, one of the thousand, to declare to man what is right for him,

“ But if an angel from heaven appears— a special messenger to intercede for a person and declare that he is upright—

If there is an angel on his side, one mediator out of a thousand, to tell a person what is right for him

“ If there is a messenger for him, A mediator, one among a thousand, To show man His uprightness,

If there be with him an angel, An interpreter, one among a thousand, To show unto man what is right for him;

If there is an angel on his side, one mediator out of a thousand, to tell a person what is right for him

If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to shew unto man his uprightness:

If there is an angel beside him, one mediator out of a thousand, to tell a person what constitutes his uprightness;

“ If there is beside him an angel, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to show to man what is right for him;

“ Behold, I am sending My messenger, and he will clear a way before Me. And the Lord, whom you are seeking, will suddenly come to His temple; and the messenger of the covenant, in whom you delight, behold, He is coming,” says the Lord of armies.

which I am still seeking but have not found. I have found one man among a thousand, but I have not found a woman among all these.

For if He causes grief, Then He will have compassion In proportion to His abundant mercy.

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, Because the Lord anointed me To bring good news to the humble; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, To proclaim release to captives And freedom to prisoners;To proclaim the favorable year of the Lord And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn,To grant those who mourn in Zion, Giving them a garland instead of ashes, The oil of gladness instead of mourning, The cloak of praise instead of a disheartened spirit. So they will be called oaks of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.

Now the angel of the Lord came up from Gilgal to Bochim. And he said,“ I brought you up out of Egypt and led you into the land which I have sworn to your fathers; and I said,‘ I will never break My covenant with you,

However, You are righteous in everything that has happened to us; For You have dealt faithfully, but we have acted wickedly.

So the Lord has kept the disaster in store and brought it on us; for the Lord our God is righteous with respect to all His deeds which He has done, but we have not obeyed His voice.

Yet you say,‘ The way of the Lord is not right.’ Hear now, house of Israel! Is My way not right? Is it not your ways that are not right?When a righteous person turns away from his righteousness, commits injustice and dies because of it, for his injustice which he has committed he dies.But when a wicked person turns away from his wickedness which he has committed and practices justice and righteousness, he will save his life.Since he understood and turned away from all his offenses which he had committed, he shall certainly live; he shall not die.

For this reason many among you are weak and sick, and a number are asleep.But if we judged ourselves rightly, we would not be judged.But when we are judged, we are disciplined by the Lord so that we will not be condemned along with the world.

God certainly will not act wickedly, And the Almighty will not pervert justice.

How much less when you say you do not look at Him, The case is before Him, and you must wait for Him!

And show you the secrets of wisdom! For sound wisdom has two sides. Know then that God forgets part of your guilt.

“ Therefore, listen to me, you men of understanding. Far be it from God to do evil, And from the Almighty to do wrong.

The Almighty— we cannot find Him; He is exalted in power And He will not violate justice and abundant righteousness.

Of what can any living mortal, or any man, Complain in view of his sins?Let’s examine and search out our ways, And let’s return to the Lord.We raise our heart and hands Toward God in heaven;

If one wished to dispute with Him, He could not answer Him once in a thousand times.

Then Haggai, the messenger of the Lord, spoke by the commission of the Lord to the people, saying,“ ‘ I am with you,’ declares the Lord.”

Blessed is the man whom You discipline, Lord, And whom You teach from Your Law,

I will bring my knowledge from afar, And ascribe righteousness to my Maker.

And if they are bound in shackles, And are caught in the snares of misery,Then He declares to them their work And their wrongdoings, that they have been arrogant.He opens their ears to instruction, And commands that they return from injustice.If they listen and serve Him, They will end their days in prosperity, And their years in happiness.But if they do not listen, they will perish by the sword, And die without knowledge.But the godless in heart nurture anger; They do not call for help when He binds them.

For the lips of a priest should maintain knowledge, and people should seek instruction from his mouth; for he is the messenger of the Lord of armies.

Teach me what I do not see; If I have done wrong, I will not do it again’?

The Lord’s acts of mercy indeed do not end, For His compassions do not fail.They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.

Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.

and you have forgotten the exhortation which is addressed to you as sons,“ My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord, Nor faint when you are punished by Him;For whom the Lord loves He disciplines, And He punishes every son whom He accepts.”It is for discipline that you endure; God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom his father does not discipline?But if you are without discipline, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate children and not sons.Furthermore, we had earthly fathers to discipline us, and we respected them; shall we not much more be subject to the Father of spirits, and live?For they disciplined us for a short time as seemed best to them, but He disciplines us for our good, so that we may share His holiness.For the moment, all discipline seems not to be pleasant, but painful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterward it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness.Therefore, strengthen the hands that are weak and the knees that are feeble,

I know, Lord, that Your judgments are righteous, And that You have afflicted me in faithfulness.

Yet the Lord, the God of their fathers, sent word to them again and again by His messengers, because He had compassion on His people and on His dwelling place;but they continually mocked the messengers of God, despised His words, and scoffed at His prophets, until the wrath of the Lord rose against His people, until there was no remedy.

Philip ran up and heard him reading Isaiah the prophet, and said,“ Do you understand what you are reading?”

But I am speaking to you who are Gentiles. Therefore insofar as I am an apostle of Gentiles, I magnify my ministry
