如果一千天使中有一位能做他的中保，指示他当行的事，

在一千位天使之中，若有一位作人的中保，指示人当行的事，

一千天使中，若有一個作傳話的臨到他，指示人所當行的事，

如果一千天使中有一位能做他的中保，指示他當行的事，

在一千位天使之中，若有一位作人的中保，指示人當行的事，

若有一位使者伺候着他，若千位中有一位傳話者，將人該行的正當事指示他，

設有天使千中之一、與之同在、為之解釋、示人所當為者、

時有使者、才德異眾、以上帝之道明示之、

千天使中若有一天使為其人作保、以人所當為之正事明示之、

Yet if there is an angel at their side, a messenger, one out of a thousand, sent to tell them how to be upright,

“ But suppose there is an angel who will speak up for him. The angel is very special. He’s one out of a thousand. He will tell that person how to do what is right.

If there be for him an angel, a mediator, one of the thousand, to declare to man what is right for him,

“ But if an angel from heaven appears— a special messenger to intercede for a person and declare that he is upright—

“ If there is an interceding angel for him, One out of a thousand, To remind a person of what is right for him,

“ If there is a messenger for him, A mediator, one among a thousand, To show man His uprightness,

If there be with him an angel, An interpreter, one among a thousand, To show unto man what is right for him;

If there is an angel on his side, one mediator out of a thousand, to tell a person what is right for him

If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to shew unto man his uprightness:

If there is an angel beside him, one mediator out of a thousand, to tell a person what constitutes his uprightness;

“ If there is beside him an angel, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to show to man what is right for him;

“ See, I am going to send my messenger, and he will clear the way before me. Then the Lord you seek will suddenly come to his temple, the Messenger of the covenant you delight in— see, he is coming,” says the LORD of Armies.

which my soul continually searches for but does not find: I found one person in a thousand, but none of those was a woman.

Even if he causes suffering, he will show compassion according to the abundance of his faithful love.

The Spirit of the Lord GOD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and freedom to the prisoners;to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor, and the day of our God’s vengeance; to comfort all who mourn,to provide for those who mourn in Zion; to give them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, festive oil instead of mourning, and splendid clothes instead of despair. And they will be called righteous trees, planted by the LORD to glorify him.

The angel of the LORD went up from Gilgal to Bochim and said,“ I brought you out of Egypt and led you into the land I had promised to your ancestors. I also said: I will never break my covenant with you.

You are righteous concerning all that has happened to us, because you have acted faithfully, while we have acted wickedly.

So the LORD kept the disaster in mind and brought it on us, for the LORD our God is righteous in all he has done. But we have not obeyed him.

“ But you say,‘ The Lord’s way isn’t fair.’ Now listen, house of Israel: Is it my way that is unfair? Instead, isn’t it your ways that are unfair?When a righteous person turns from his righteousness and acts unjustly, he will die for this. He will die because of the injustice he has committed.But if a wicked person turns from the wickedness he has committed and does what is just and right, he will preserve his life.He will certainly live because he thought it over and turned from all the transgressions he had committed; he will not die.

This is why many are sick and ill among you, and many have fallen asleep.If we were properly judging ourselves, we would not be judged,but when we are judged by the Lord, we are disciplined, so that we may not be condemned with the world.

Indeed, it is true that God does not act wickedly and the Almighty does not pervert justice.

how much less when you complain that you do not see him, that your case is before him and you are waiting for him.

He would show you the secrets of wisdom, for true wisdom has two sides. Know then that God has chosen to overlook some of your iniquity.

Therefore listen to me, you men of understanding. It is impossible for God to do wrong, and for the Almighty to act unjustly.

The Almighty— we cannot reach him— he is exalted in power! He will not violate justice and abundant righteousness,

Why should any living person complain, any man, because of the punishment for his sins?Let’s examine and probe our ways, and turn back to the LORD.Let’s lift up our hearts and our hands to God in heaven:

If one wanted to take him to court, he could not answer God once in a thousand times.

Then Haggai, the LORD’s messenger, delivered the LORD’s message to the people:“ I am with you— this is the LORD’s declaration.”

LORD, how happy is anyone you discipline and teach from your law

I will get my knowledge from a distant place and ascribe justice to my Maker.

If people are bound with chains and trapped by the cords of affliction,God tells them what they have done and how arrogantly they have transgressed.He opens their ears to correction and tells them to repent from iniquity.If they listen and serve him, they will end their days in prosperity and their years in happiness.But if they do not listen, they will cross the river of death and die without knowledge.Those who have a godless heart harbor anger; even when God binds them, they do not cry for help.

For the lips of a priest should guard knowledge, and people should desire instruction from his mouth, because he is the messenger of the LORD of Armies.

Teach me what I cannot see; if I have done wrong, I won’t do it again.”

Because of the LORD’s faithful love we do not perish, for his mercies never end.They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness!

Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, since God is making his appeal through us. We plead on Christ’s behalf,“ Be reconciled to God.”

And you have forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons: My son, do not take the Lord’s discipline lightly or lose heart when you are reproved by him,for the Lord disciplines the one he loves and punishes every son he receives.Endure suffering as discipline: God is dealing with you as sons. For what son is there that a father does not discipline?But if you are without discipline— which all receive— then you are illegitimate children and not sons.Furthermore, we had human fathers discipline us, and we respected them. Shouldn’t we submit even more to the Father of spirits and live?For they disciplined us for a short time based on what seemed good to them, but he does it for our benefit, so that we can share his holiness.No discipline seems enjoyable at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.Therefore, strengthen your tired hands and weakened knees,

I know, LORD, that your judgments are just and that you have afflicted me fairly.

But the LORD, the God of their ancestors sent word against them by the hand of his messengers, sending them time and time again, for he had compassion on his people and on his dwelling place.But they kept ridiculing God’s messengers, despising his words, and scoffing at his prophets, until the LORD’s wrath was so stirred up against his people that there was no remedy.

When Philip ran up to it, he heard him reading the prophet Isaiah, and said,“ Do you understand what you’re reading?”
