But God has found fault with me. He thinks I’m his enemy.

神找机会攻击我，以我为仇敌，

看哪，上帝找机会攻击我，以我为他的仇敌，

看哪，神找机会攻击我，以我为他的仇敌，

上帝却挑我的错，与我为敌；

神找机会攻击我，把我当作仇敌；

神找機會攻擊我，以我為仇敵，

看哪，上帝找機會攻擊我，以我為他的仇敵，

看哪，神找機會攻擊我，以我為他的仇敵，

上帝卻挑我的錯，與我為敵；

神找機會攻擊我，把我當作仇敵；

但你看，上帝找釁隙來攻擊我，拿我當為他的仇敵，

上帝尋隙攻我、視我為敵、

上帝攻我、視若寇讎、

天主尋隙以攻我、視我為敵、

Yet God has found fault with me; he considers me his enemy.

Behold, he finds occasions against me, he counts me as his enemy,

God is picking a quarrel with me, and he considers me his enemy.

But he finds reasons to oppose me; he regards me as his enemy.

Behold, He invents criticisms against me; He counts me as His enemy.

Yet He finds occasions against me, He counts me as His enemy;

Behold, he findeth occasions against me, He counteth me for his enemy;

But He finds reasons to oppose me; He regards me as His enemy.

Behold, he findeth occasions against me, he counteth me for his enemy,

Yet God finds occasions with me; he regards me as his enemy!

Behold, he finds occasions against me. He counts me for his enemy.

His anger burns against me. He thinks I’m one of his enemies.

Why do you turn your face away from me? Why do you think of me as your enemy?I’m already like a leaf that is blown by the wind. Are you going to terrify me even more? I’m already like dry straw. Are you going to keep on chasing me?

If I were guilty, how terrible that would be for me! Even if I haven’t sinned, I can’t be proud of what I’ve done. That’s because I’m so full of shame. I’m drowning in my suffering.If I become proud, you hunt me down like a lion. You show your mighty power against me.You bring new witnesses against me. You become more and more angry with me. You use your power against me again and again.

You do mean things to me. You attack me with your mighty power.

Then you will count every step I take. But you won’t keep track of my sin.

Suppose I clean myself with soap. Suppose I wash my hands with cleanser.Even then you would throw me into a muddy pit. And even my clothes would hate me.

“ Job says,‘ I’m not guilty of doing anything wrong. But God doesn’t treat me fairly.

God is angry with me. He attacks me and tears me up. He grinds his teeth at me. He stares at me as if he were my enemy.

“ I wish someone would listen to me! I’m signing my name to everything I’ve said. I hope the Mighty One will give me his answer. I hope the one who brings charges against me will write them down.
