But he finds reasons to oppose me; he regards me as his enemy.

神找机会攻击我，以我为仇敌，

上帝却挑我的错，与我为敌；

神找机会攻击我，把我当作仇敌；

神找機會攻擊我，以我為仇敵，

看哪，上帝找機會攻擊我，以我為他的仇敵，

看哪，神找機會攻擊我，以我為他的仇敵，

上帝卻挑我的錯，與我為敵；

神找機會攻擊我，把我當作仇敵；

但你看，上帝找釁隙來攻擊我，拿我當為他的仇敵，

上帝尋隙攻我、視我為敵、

上帝攻我、視若寇讎、

天主尋隙以攻我、視我為敵、

Yet God has found fault with me; he considers me his enemy.

But God has found fault with me. He thinks I’m his enemy.

Behold, he finds occasions against me, he counts me as his enemy,

God is picking a quarrel with me, and he considers me his enemy.

Behold, He invents criticisms against me; He counts me as His enemy.

Yet He finds occasions against me, He counts me as His enemy;

Behold, he findeth occasions against me, He counteth me for his enemy;

But He finds reasons to oppose me; He regards me as His enemy.

Behold, he findeth occasions against me, he counteth me for his enemy,

Yet God finds occasions with me; he regards me as his enemy!

Behold, he finds occasions against me. He counts me for his enemy.

His anger burns against me, and he regards me as one of his enemies.

Why do you hide your face and consider me your enemy?Will you frighten a wind-driven leaf? Will you chase after dry straw?

If I am wicked, woe to me! And even if I am righteous, I cannot lift up my head. I am filled with shame and have drunk deeply of my affliction.If I am proud, you hunt me like a lion and again display your miraculous power against me.You produce new witnesses against me and multiply your anger toward me. Hardships assault me, wave after wave.

You have turned against me with cruelty; you harass me with your strong hand.

For then you would count my steps but would not take note of my sin.

If I wash myself with snow, and cleanse my hands with lye,then you dip me in a pit of mud, and my own clothes despise me!

For Job has declared,“ I am righteous, yet God has deprived me of justice.

His anger tears at me, and he harasses me. He gnashes his teeth at me. My enemy pierces me with his eyes.

If only I had someone to hear my case! Here is my signature; let the Almighty answer me. Let my Opponent compose his indictment.
