Must I wait, now that they are silent, now that they stand there with no reply?

Do I have to keep on waiting, now that they are silent? They are just standing there with nothing to say.

And shall I wait, because they do not speak, because they stand there, and answer no more?

Therefore, the wise person will keep silent at such a time, for the days are evil.

Even a fool is considered wise when he keeps silent, discerning when he seals his lips.

If only you would shut up and let that be your wisdom!
