Behold, I waited for your words; I gave ear to your reasons, whilst ye searched out what to say.

看啊，我一直等候你们发言，倾听你们的理论，等你们斟词酌句。

你们砌词说话的时候，我等待着你们的话，留心听你们的理论。

你們查究所要說的話；那時我等候你們的話，側耳聽你們的辯論，

看啊，我一直等候你們發言，傾聽你們的理論，等你們斟詞酌句。

你們砌詞說話的時候，我等待著你們的話，留心聽你們的理論。

『看哪，當你們遍索言詞時候，我等候着你們的話，我側耳聽你們的理論；

我俟爾言、傾聽爾辯、待爾窮究所欲言者、

爾曹詳究斯理、我已備聆。

我已聽爾言、傾耳聽爾之辯論、待爾窮究其理、

I waited while you spoke, I listened to your reasoning; while you were searching for words,

I waited while you men spoke. I listened to your reasoning. While you were searching for words,

“ Behold, I waited for your words, I listened for your wise sayings, while you searched out what to say.

“ I have waited all this time, listening very carefully to your arguments, listening to you grope for words.

Look, I waited for your conclusions; I listened to your insights as you sought for words.

“ Behold, I waited for your words, I listened to your skillful speech, While you pondered what to say.

Indeed I waited for your words, I listened to your reasonings, while you searched out what to say.

Look, I waited for your conclusions; I listened to your insights as you sought for words.

“ Behold, I waited for your words, and I listened for your reasoning, while you searched out what to say.

The rich man[ is] wise in his own conceit; but the poor that hath understanding searcheth him out.

[ He that is] first in his own cause[ seemeth] just; but his neighbour cometh and searcheth him.
