let God weigh me in honest scales and he will know that I am blameless—

The Lord judges the peoples; Vindicate me, Lord, according to my righteousness and my integrity that is in me.Please let the evil of the wicked come to an end, but establish the righteous; For the righteous God puts hearts and minds to the test.

‘ Tekēl’— you have been weighed on the scales and found deficient.

Do not go on boasting so very proudly, Do not let arrogance come out of your mouth; For the Lord is a God of knowledge, And with Him actions are weighed.

Let my judgment come forth from Your presence; Let Your eyes look with integrity.You have put my heart to the test; You have visited me by night; You have sifted me and You find nothing; My intent is that my mouth will not offend.

Nevertheless, the firm foundation of God stands, having this seal:“ The Lord knows those who are His;” and,“ Everyone who names the name of the Lord is to keep away from wickedness.”

And then I will declare to them,‘ I never knew you; leave Me, you who practice lawlessness.’

“ The Mighty One, God, the Lord, the Mighty One, God, the Lord! He knows, and may Israel itself know. If it was in rebellion, or if in an unfaithful act against the Lord, do not save us this day!

Search me, God, and know my heart; Put me to the test and know my anxious thoughts;

For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, But the way of the wicked will perish.

Vindicate me, Lord, for I have walked in my integrity, And I have trusted in the Lord without wavering.

A just balance and scales belong to the Lord; All the weights of the bag are His concern.

“ Oh if only my grief were actually weighed And laid in the balances together with my disaster!

The way of the righteous is smooth; O Upright One, make the path of the righteous level.

Can I justify dishonest balances, And a bag of fraudulent weights?

Far be it from me that I should declare you right; Until I die, I will not give up my integrity.I have kept hold of my righteousness and will not let it go. My heart does not rebuke any of my days.
