‘ Tekel’ means that you have been weighed on the balance and found deficient.

Do not boast so proudly, or let arrogant words come out of your mouth, for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and actions are weighed by him.

Let my vindication come from you, for you see what is right.You have tested my heart; you have examined me at night. You have tried me and found nothing evil; I have determined that my mouth will not sin.

Nevertheless, God’s solid foundation stands firm, bearing this inscription: The Lord knows those who are his, and let everyone who calls on the name of the Lord turn away from wickedness.

Honest balances and scales are the LORD’s; all the weights in the bag are his concern.

If only my grief could be weighed and my devastation placed with it on the scales.

The path of the righteous is level; you clear a straight path for the righteous.

Can I excuse wicked scales or bags of deceptive weights?

I will never affirm that you are right. I will maintain my integrity until I die.I will cling to my righteousness and never let it go. My conscience will not accuse me as long as I live!
